Betty Krouse Park — Attraction in Colorado Springs

This park was fun for the kids. We stopped to eat our pizza there, however it appeared the Colorado Springs Park & Rec have neglected the maintenance of this park for whatever the reason! Come on now, this is part of what our City tax dollars is supposed to be distributed to. It is a City Park after all. I am not opposed to City taxes, I live here in beautiful Colorado Springs for Pete's sake, however, ALL parks here in the Springs that are maintained by Park & Rec should be just that . . .Maintained!!! All equal, it should not matter what part of town they are located in . . . North, South, East or the West side of town!

This is a small community park that reminded me of when I was a child & walked, or rode my bike to visit. Having fun with my youngest son, riding bikes around the paths. Respecting the Social Distancing guidelines with Covid-19. I'm not quite ready to allow him to play on the playground area. So, still enjoying sitting & people watching, talking, also seeing how the park animals are preparing for the upcoming Spring Time. April 2022, Springtime. Not a very busy park @ this time. Such a nice little park very quiet and clean. Has a nice little playground for the kiddos to play plenty of shade little basketball court.
