Tacos del Gordo IV — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

3rd update only days after the last update (I couldn't wait!): LUNCH!

I had the chili rellano plate with a cheese enchilada. The rellano was the perfect spicy and more flavor than I was expecting from a "fast food" Mexican spot. Will definitely ordered that again. It was grind lightly and covered in a complementing red sauce with the perfect amount of cheese.

The cheese enchilada was delicious as well. The beans? To be expected. The rice, wasn't as impressed as I wanted to be but it's been a challenge finding the taste I am looking for as of late. I dined in this time. And while I took advantage of the salsa bar the food really didn't need anything additional.

Overall not only do I recommend for breakfast but also for lunch!

The staff still friendly, happy to help and accommodate!

Update -a month later: Had the chorizo and egg breakfast burrito and it did not disappoint. The quality is consistent so far. The burrito are stuffed with the ingredients. I could only eat half and shared the rest with my kiddo.

This is honestly my new favorite burrito spot. I cannot wait to have the enchiladas, tacos and more!

Highly recommend. I'll be back as soon as possible!

Original review: Had the bacon breakfast burrito and it was on point, huge, filled with equal parts bacon eggs and cheese- delicious! My son has ordered from here and been happy and with the few bites I've had of his orders I is what impressed me enough to get a breakfast burrito.

I'm from a border town and i'm pretty picky about mexican food. Let me tell you that this place has the best ground beef. Tacos and pretty much everything on that menu is made perfect. Every single time. That is not an exaggeration. I live a couple blocks from this location. And I have never had a bad meal. When you receive your food, it has weight to it. Highly suggest the cabesa tacos. These folks have just popped up with many stores all of a sudden, and there is a reason why their food is super delicious. Here is an update to this restaurant. As I have recently visited. The food here is just amazingly good, no. Question about it Try anything on the menu and you will not be disappointed. I am so thankful. This place is so close to my house for the main reason that after eating this bountiful food.I get sleepy and my house is nearby...

I was craving a steak burrito and planned to go to my usual spot, but they were closed today. So, I searched for a new place on Google, saw the great reviews, and decided to give this spot a try—and I’m so glad I did! It was definitely worth the 12-minute drive.

I ordered the California Burrito, which is a steak and potato-style burrito, and it was absolutely delicious and satisfying. What really stood out to me was their use of actual diced potatoes in the burrito. Many other places in the area have switched to using french fries as a substitute, but it just doesn’t compare in texture or flavor. The diced potatoes made a huge difference, and it’s clear this place values quality....
