The food was fresh and the tortillas are so tasty, you can truly taste that they are fresh home made tortillas. When you order you can see them pressing out your tortillas and everything else being cooked for you while you wait. It's a very nice experience and what makes it even better and a huge plus, is that they are a food truck that also has a great place sit and dine there. If I could give you one suggestion it would be don't leave without trying a "Chilaco Taco", it's an unforgettable experience! One well worth the drive from where ever you come eat. Oh yeah their Birria Tacos are made authentic from goat and slow cooked in banana leaves. Do forget to ask about their hidden menu, you'll be glad you did!!

Tears to my eyes! I was very spoiled. I grew up in Tucson Arizona with the most eclectic choices of food, and amazing food! It's been hard for me because there are amazing eateries here, but nothing like home. I was looking for good tacos, and saw someone post Native Grill food truck. Saw one picture, and immediately messaged them on Facebook, and within minutes I received a reply and they were right next to my house. The owner of the truck is an absolute Gem. They allow customers to go inside House of Kars to stay warm, and eat. I honestly haven't cried over food in a long time. But I felt home. I will be visiting ALL the time! So glad I found them!

We went here for my birthday and it was amazing! The owner Ricky, went out of his way to explain the menu and made recommendations that we should try. He and his brother, who does a lot of the cooking, were very friendly and made my birthday special. We had the fantastic four tacos, native style, and the shrimp taco (chilaco) was out of this world! We also had sweet fry bread, agua fresca, montezumas, and the native noodle soup I forgot the name of. Everything was very fresh and made from scratch. We will definitely be coming back here!

Excellent food, and well worth the price! We started our meal with horchata, and a cucumber lemon drink. The horchata was homemade, and a little lighter on the cinnamon than I'm used to but very delicious. The cucumber drink was light and refreshing, very much put me in mind of a great drink for spring and summer. Our appetizer was the Montezuma cheese rolls filled with sirloin, we got a six piece which could make a good lunch if you weren't too hungry. The cheese was crispy on the outside with moist, tender meat on the inside.

For our mains, they had lamb instead of goat when we went, so we got a lamb quesabirria taco which had marinated, shredded lamb without a hint of gaminess. We also got the braised chicken taco on the flat bread which was delightfully tender and very well seasoned.

My wife got the three taco shrimp plate, which we both agreed had a unique and delicious flavor. The favorite shell for it for both of us was the flat bread. The sponginess of the bread was an especially nice contrast to the shrimp's meatiness.

I ended up getting the native quesadilla with barbacoa as my meat. It was a combination of flavors that I wouldn't have thought of but all blended together in a...

I was in the area for a few days from Denver and had a craving for fry bread. When I googled where to get some, this food truck came up as the only local place in the Springs to have some. I figured why not give it a try! I ordered the shrimp tacos on fry bread, the sweet fry bread, and cucumber mint Fresca. When I tell you these are the best tacos I have ever had, I am not kidding! The ingredients are fresh and they do not skimp on any toppings. The fact you can order the tacos on fry bread makes them even better! And the sweet fry bread with the bourbon maple dipping sauce was out of this world! The cucumber mint Fresca went perfectly with my tacos and because I love spicy, I got the hottest salsa they make, so this drink cooled everything off just right. Seriously, if you are in the area and are looking for an amazing local place for amazing food, come here! I will come back from Denver just to have their food! The owners are so nice and explain the menu and where all the ingredients are sourced. This is an...

From the first bite to the last, Native Grill delivered one of the most memorable meals we’ve had since moving to Colorado Springs three years ago. This Native American food truck is nothing short of extraordinary.

We tried the Chilaco Shrimp taco, braised chicken taco, quesabirria taco, beef empanadas, sweet fry bread, and Fideo—and every single item was bursting with authentic flavor and soul. The seasoning was spot on, the ingredients fresh, and the presentation full of heart. Each bite kept us wanting more.

Beyond the food, the service was equally exceptional. Genuine, loving, and welcoming—it felt less like placing an order and more like being invited into someone’s home. There’s a deep care behind what they do, and it shows.

This isn’t just a great food truck—it’s a culinary experience rooted in culture and passion. Highly recommended to anyone looking for something truly special.

More than worth it. –...
