The scenery was amazing, but the amount of traffic that was trying to force you to move out of the way ruined our visit. We came on a weekday and I thought it would be less busy, but it was horrible. We got to the trading post to do some shopping and there was hardly any parking. We finally found a good spot to park on one of the tallest pullouts and we got to walk around and take pics, but I doubt I will be back because of the traffic.

Great spot for a drive and a hike! Bring a water bottle and some sunscreen. The trails are pretty easy, but you can try some rock climbing if you’ve got the right gear. Take it slow on the drive so you can pull over at the marked spots for some great photos.

This place does not disappoint. Beautiful vistas of Red Rocks jutting up from the ground. I have been coming here for years. There are nice walking trails to see the area. Enjoy. 😃

A visit to the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs on a Sunday revealed a surprisingly moderate crowd, making it easy to find parking in most areas.
