Cool place for D&D. I read the reviews before coming here and it seems so cool. I play D&D, Digimon, Vampire masquerade, and more tabletop games like that. Coming here… I debated to write this review because I know people get bullied from those interests. I went through it as well. Ironically, coming here I went through the same experience as one of the one star review. Not welcoming and the owner wanted my husband and I out so bad. My husband asked for recommendations of games and books. The owner told us “you got a phone right? Google it.” Geez dude we asked because we were genuinely interested and want to support businesses like this. What made it more awkward, the D&D group that came after us was silently waiting and staring at us. After 30 minutes, we left. *Reply to the owner: Thank you for taking the time to reply. I understand that people come and go into your business which can mess with your memory. I will take this experience as a reminder that some spaces may...
Read moreThe manager made this a memorable experience, I had a pleasant conversation about a downturn in popularity for a certain game amongst other things but after taking my time perusing my wife and son came in. My 2 year old boy was naturally interested in everything but generally minded his manners. The manager showed uncommon kindness to my son and was very polite to my wife. Wanted to put that up front, rest of the review as follows:
First time visiting this hobby store and was impressed with the wide range of D&D related products, from official books to 3rd party content, better die selection than most places, unpainted and pre-painted minis. Most products were at MSRP and some had creative discounts. Good tabletop selection overall with all of the common/popular games being present and quite a few lesser known as well. It doesn't provide a large space to play from what I saw but I imagine about a dozen people can play comfortably. I'll definitely be returning here for my...
Read moreAn awesome little game shop in Colorado Springs. There is a respectable collection of board games and tabletop role-playing game options available. Including options for both dungeons & dragons and Pathfinder, as well as some older material. Trading cards are available primarily Magic the Gathering from what I saw. However, the absolute best part of the store is the exceedingly large collection of miniatures, they carry the modern Wizkids Deepcuts miniatures, epic encounters boxes, and wargames Atlantic models. The biggest find for me was that this place is a treasure trove for the fun old and weird pewter models that just don't have good modern equivalents. Just from models I bought I found models from Void, Chronopia, some old school metal kitbashes made from GW models and a few models I couldn’t find the source of. I highly recommend this store to anyone who gets a chance...
