Update: we went to eat inside for the first time, the chicken was as good as the first time but the dumplings were absolutely nasty. They were cold and mushy, the pork inside was hard and bad. They tasted like they were cooked a long time before we ordered and then maybe put them in the microwave for 30 seconds. Order them at your own risk. Never judge a book by its cover. This was the best Chinese food I've ever had. The restaurant outside doesn't look that great, but, OMG, the inside is beautiful and the food is even better. We ordered takeout 30 minutes before closing, the lady on the phone was really helpful and kind. They had the food ready in 15 minutes and it was still steaming hot when we arrived back home. The Sesame Chicken was the absolute best! So tasty and with a nice crunch and the portion was huge! The General Tso's was also good and it came with steamed rice. We can't wait to get food from here again, we will probably eat inside next time. I recommend trying it and you'll never change restaurants.

Ordered chow mein and I was served soup with a bag of crispy noodles on the side. Basically not chow mein. I had also just looked at images of chow mein on Google to confirm that I was remembering it correctly. I did. When I called the restaurant a woman laughed and said " that's why I say it's a crispy noodles, lo mein is like a spaghetti noodle." I know what chow mein is. I'm 35 years old and I travel the country for work. BBQ pork chow mein is one of my favorites. I was so annoyed at being laughed at that I'm leaving this review. And a photo of the Luke warm "soup" that they tried to pass off as chow mein. Save yourself the headache and go to coal mine dragon. I will not order from here again. Full disclosure I also ordered BBQ spare ribs. About 5 of the six were almost passable, but the 6th one was essentially just a bone

They're open again!! After being closed since July 2017 they have reopened. Friendly staff with many many great options to choose from. China Village has been a staple of the community for over thirty years. Wonton soup, sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken, fried rice, love mein... All of your favorites when you are looking for satisfying your craving for great Chinese food. The dining room has been nicely updated, but still has a lot of the decor from before they closed so it still feels like the same place. Large portions of food makes it really easy to share. I love this place! They do a higher amount of take out; they're was a constant flow of people coming in and out getting their food. Dining room is large and for a lot of people.

Life long resident so needless to say I’ve enjoyed China village almost as long as they have been open. My favorite is the sesame chicken and I’ve always requested it mild every time before just like I did tonight. The woman who took my order made sure as to what I requested by asking me if I wanted mild or no spice. I said mild as I’ve ordered it countless times before. When we got home to enjoy our dinner, the chicken was hot and spicy like never before. I’ve never had an issue before. Spicy enough that I could not consume it. So I contacted the restaurant to see if they would comp me another order of sesame chicken. I was told they do not offer mild since the peppers used can not be predicted one day to the next. The sesame chicken was served as is without any choice of the level of heat added. It was bizarre since I’ve always ordered mild without an issue ever before. After the too long explanation I finally got an ok to go back to the restaurant for another order that would be mild. This is at 930pm on a Friday night. Upon arrival, I was told they would not comp me the order since I didn’t bring the first order with me. I was confused at first but she clarified she would not give me my order until I brought the other. I asked why was that necessary. She explained so the kitchen staff could see and determine if it was or wasn’t mild. I asked if they were going to eat it. She said they would know upon a visual review. Extremely bizarre and so unexpected. We exchanged words and finally was given my order. I was then told she did not trust me and all I was doing was trying scam an extra order. I asked who would come out in a freezing cold night, disrupt their dinner just to scam an extra meal? I was insulted to say the least. As I was exiting the building I was then told to never return again. I’m dumbfounded and angry at the customer service provided by the owner of the restaurant. I have never been treated this way at any restaurant and am extremely disappointed it has to be a favorite of mine that I’ve been a patron of...

ok so we have been going here for 6 months now and has always been our go to chinese place as their food has always been very tasy, but lately i have been dissapointed with them and today has drawn the last straw. so the first occurrance was we ordered take out as usual the issue i had then was they didnt ask me for what type of rice i should get and i am always asked that i always order fried rice and i was given white rice instead. Now i know it should of been on me to ask them for fried rice but they have always asked me for what type of rice and this time i was under impression i was getting fried rice. so today it was actually worse experience. we actually went to dine in today, they claimed to be very busy as i am guessing they had alot of phone orders so the food took a bout 40 minutes to come out. the appetizers came out at reasonable time and was tasy as usual how ever several things upset me. The biggest issue is i was actually asked for type of rice that i wanted in which i told them fried rice. when my food came out the waitress told me that they are too busy to make fried rice and she brought me steamed rice instead of asking me if that would of been ok. she just dropped it at our table and explained why she brought that out instead. Then she didnt give us napkins nor did she offer for any condiments i had to ask for everything and she was always in a rush. General Tsao chicken is what i ordered, though the plate looked presentable with all kinds of garnishments the chicken was suprisingly dry. I am pretty dissapointed with the fact that she took it upon herself to bring me steamed rice instead of fried rice like i asked. If she would have told me from the beginning that they are not able to make fried rice even though it takes almost no time to make becuase they were busy, i would of been ok with it and asked for something else. We wont be going...

My wife picked this restaurant because it had good reviews but our experience was different. I ordered chicken with garlic sauce and my wife ordered sesame seed chicken. The order was placed at 1353 hrs (during lunch). Typically Chicken w/garlic sauce comes with broccoli, mushrooms, and sometimes sliced peppers of some type. Also on the menu there is no other description other than "spicy," mine had every vegetable in my to go order, ( celery, green peppers, red peppers, whole green peas, onions, green and white). When I took my order back to ask them to make me something else because it wasn't listed in the menu that it had all those vegetables, the lady behind the counter that I assume to be the manager, told me it was my fault for not knowing that garlic chicken came with all those vegetables. When I explained that it was not listed on their menu, she told me that if they had to list it on every menu it would be very costly for them. When I asked her what about the one on the internet which is the one I viewed, she ignored the question and said she would make me something else this one time. After getting my new order and returning home I realized the egg rolls that are listed on the lunch menu were missing from my order. My wife thought the chicken was over cooked and dry. I gave this place two stars because she...
