I went in to get my battery replaced for my phone and read over the contract they ask you to sign to make sure the phone is in good shape. The first time the employee finished it in 20 minutes but when I took it home and calibrated the battery it would decrease 10% in 10 minutes. I then took the battery and got it switched out. The same thing had happened, I knew it wasn't the phone because I had gotten a new battery a week before but had to fully return that and the new screen. I wanted to get a full refund because the product wasn't working as it should have. I called in and spoke with the assistant manager who was rude and threatened to hang up on me. I felt as though I should be charged $20 for a product that wasn't working as it should. The employees are friendly but the assistant manager was rude over the phone. Make sure you read their website thoroughly because even if your product is fault twice they will not give you a full refund, the also disclaim implied warranties which protects them from having to issue a full refund. I returned their battery but they kept $20 for a labor charge which is not in the contract you sign for repairs and I would think that when a product doesn't work as it should the customer should not have to compensate the employees. I was lied to multiple times over the phone by the assistant manager. I will not be coming back here for any phone repairs or any other products. customer service and care are important and the assistant manger completely ruined that experience. I would not recommend you go here for a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time at this store was a challenge: I needed an ancient replacement battery for an antique pendulum table clock that is easily 80 years old. The battery is cardboard, with seperate chemical containers featuring each of the terminals that you have to wire yourself.
Needless to say, it wasn't something in stock or even found online with Amazon or Ebay. They still managed to sort me out however and connect me with a guy who makes custom batteries in Minnesota. So they didn't even earn a sale, but helped nonetheless.
Since then, I've visited several times for common household batteries and small camera type batteries for my mother's glucose meter. Their prices are only a couple dollars over the lowest online (without shipping) so I know their markup is minimal, and it's worth getting it immediately and gambling with shipping costs.
The staff is frendly and in my experience above and beyond helpful. Parking is cramped, the strip mall has many stores and only two rows of spots. Handicapped parking is available near the door. Definitely worth a visit over th he markup at other stores from...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAny time I need a weird battery that isn't sold at the grocery store, I come to this store. They typically install it for me if I've brought along the item the battery goes inside. They are also very friendly and are very familiar with all the different battery types. Recently I went in to get a couple lithium batteries for a food scale I have. I noticed while I was in there that they also sell and install Iphone batteries while the customer waits. The last time I tried that at the Verizon store, they told me they had to send it out for several days. I'm in business and can't be without my phone, so I ended up buying a new phone. My daughters phone barely holds a charge, but now she's got a new battery, which means I don't have to buy her a new phone! Also, while we were at the store waiting for the Iphone battery, I noticed they sell and cut automobile keys. We needed another one, but the price the dealer had quoted was double the price that you charged me. I was very glad the battery for my food scale had died because it led to these other...
