I set up an appointment today for my wife to have full highlights first thing this morning when they opened up (for her birthday). When we got there the lady didn't introduce herself and was very rude to my wife. Their website says full highlights cost $103 for 90 minutes. The lady today didn't seen to know how to do full highlights and had my wife wait while she looked up a video online...my wife is Filipino...I don't know if she didn't know if the process is different for Asian hair or what that was all about. My wife lost confidence in her after that But then she came back and said it would cost $280 to highlight her hair. I understand that pricing varies due to how long it will take them and the length of the hair and knew it would cost more because her hair is longer, however she has been to Holiday Hair multiple times (Hilliard Rome Rd location) for the same highlights and they have always highlighted her hair in under an hour and a half and charged $160. Once my wife told them she has gone to Holiday Hair multiple times in the past for this same thing (her hair was the same length, actually a littler longer than it is today) they blamed it on the ownership of the company changing and their prices went up and the prices on the websites aren't right either. We left and won't...
Read moreI've debated sharing my experience because I thought maybe they just had a bad day.
I went there once early in the pandemic and left with hair dye snared all over my face. I understand it being on the scalp because it's hair dye. But this was the sides of my face and my forehead. The next time I went it was the same thing even though no mask was worn. I could forgive this but the stylist decided that my eyebrows were too light and smeared hair dye on them - yes leftover hair dye, not eyebrow tint- without asking.
So I left with hair dye on my forehead, cheeks, and what looked like a second set of eyebrows smeared above my now very dark hairdyed eyebrows.
I had to go home and scrub my face and hair twice before it looked remotely okay and my husband and niece both laughed when they saw the pictures. I looked like a bad...
Read moreI highly recommend coming to this location specifically! I am a 40 yr old woman, been going to this location since I was 12 yrs old! The women that work here are very experienced, friendly, and aim to please! I feel they always go above and beyond! I am transitioning from dark brown back to my natural hair color ( plus some lol) to very light blonde! It is a huge pain in the rump to do this and Dina (my stylist) went above and beyond by putting double the amount of highlight foils in my hair than Charles penzone did two months ago. Overall, you get a better result at a much better price choosing this salon than you would choosing other high end salons and I would stand by this statement any day of the week and for any situation!! Pls check this salon out!! You are missing out going anywhere else!! Love Dina (also Connie is a great stylist...
