Northland Plaza Shopping Center — Attraction in Columbus

There's not much there but that gentleman that sell stuff is really nice and there's just hardly no place in there's a DSW for clothes for men and women it's in there it's nice but the rest the rest of it there is a plasma center or something else there's not much in there but that man I would go look at his stuff I really would he's got name brand stuff he's got pocketbooks he's got men's tools he's got shoes he's got closed he's got toys he's got computers computer equipment telephone cell phones I meant and he fixes them or he'll have them fixed for you and like I said I just bought $199 leather coat for $86 $50 back up 50 and I just bought an old time radio that has Bluetooth CD AM FM and all that and because I've been going back and back and back into him he marked down to $80 and it was $109 but if you talk to him and don't think you know he's not a smart man cuz he is he only unlock some price off for you. He really will and he's got layaway that's really nice really a nice thing I've used it every single time he's let me used it and I got everything out on time and everything he's a really good man but that DSW is just like a shot and stings they are right it's wide-open there's nothing hanging from their all on racks and things and they're not in the right places and they're just out of its out of control they need somebody in there that knows what they're doing to put it under control like this man like you got to go into his store he's there by himself sometimes but he has somebody there all times with him in the back or somewhere but if he's a real nice gentleman...

This place is weird. You have some legit good businesses here like Donato's and the haunted house here is pretty decent. I've heard good things about the Mexican restaurant here but I haven't been there myself. However, there simply isn't a lot here. It got a little run down about 10 years ago and it still hasn't rebounded yet. It's also not a great place to hang out at night due to the neighborhood nearby not being as nice as it once was. The donato's here has been robbed a few times over the years.

One of the other reviewers here had it right. The cost for rental space here needs to go down to encourage businesses to move in and make this place worth going to for something other than pizza and Mexican food. The nearby Steak N Shake isn't bad either, but that's it really, just 3 food places and some season entertainment.

As for the safety, I think it's better than it has been. The police seem to patrol this area quite a bit and I haven't heard anything bad happen up here (I live a few blocks away). It's not bad, but it's definitely not a place to go chill or hangout at all....

Don't go here if you value your gas or time. They will make you go through a pre-qualification check every time before they let you donate. Then they will defer you for something as simple as being slightly over 100 with your blood pressure or having a bruise or cut. Anything minor will get you deferred. Then you just wasted over an hour of your time or in my case two hours since I drive from the west side. Also they won't reimburse you for wasting your gas and we all know gas isn't free. If you do make it past the CSL checkpoint they will only pay you $50 to $65 for your time since they can't legally pay you for your Plasma. But I bet they make about 20 times that when they sell...
