Wonderful bird watching of all kinds. In the spring see geese families and duck families getting their children ready for migration in the fall. Lots of eating and swimming. I saw a family of geese with seventeen chicks. If you see a bigger family please get a pic and post. The path through the area is nice but covered in goose grease so wear outdoor shoes. The area is essentially a boggy pond with bridges connecting the pond areas. There is a covered picnic area with several tables. It would be so much better to hike in if it weren’t for the constant loud road noise...
