The G.O.A.T. Indian Grill and Biryani — Restaurant in Commerce Charter Township

Came in on a busy Friday night. The restaurant was bustling with orders and has limited seating since it's a small place. I placed a takeout order for the Panjabi Samosa, 2x Tandoori Roti, and the Mutton Roast Biryani.

The Panjabi Samosa was a pleasant surprise—very flaky with a generous, flavorful filling and just the right amount of heat. I preferred the tamarind sauce over the mint sauce, but both were good. You also get three samosas per order, which is more than what many places offer.

The Tandoori Roti was warm and soft, though a little drier than I’m used to. Still, it worked well as a side with the main dish.

For the Mutton Roast Biryani, I went with medium spice to test their heat level. The biryani rice was soft and flavorful. The mutton itself was a bit saltier than I would have liked, but the yogurt sauce helped balance it out. The gravy was a bit grainy for my taste, so I only used it sparingly.

This new restaurant is niche and cozy. The ambience is so peaceful. The people were very nice and helpful suggestion the dishes to order based on our palette. The food was totally mesmerizing and made us crave for more. Every thing we tried was very good. They welcomed us with a small complimentary soup. The spice levels were perfect with our butter chicken and 007 chicken. The chef special briyanis are a must try, we had a Viajayawada goat fry briayani and the taste lingers for the whole day. They had rose milk and mango lassi which was very tasty.

We ordered chicken tikka and curry leaf cauliflower for takeout on a Friday night. The quality of the food was OUTSTANDING! We tried the Indian mild and the American medium spice levels and found them to be right on the mark! Both the dishes were freshly prepared, very flavorful, cooked to perfection, not greasy and were securely packaged in recyclable and compostable containers. While seating is limited to a few tables, the ambience is clean, quiet and uncluttered. The creative menu leaves me craving for more.
