As with the other not so savory reviews my disappointment stems from the customer service. I have been to several different costcos within a 20 mile radius of where I live and the staff are usually pretty nice for the most part at most of them but at this location, Im not sure if they are more stressed or if it was just a busy day for them but the politeness was just not there with several of the staff. Some were nice, others weren't as polite. I went to see if I could exchange some icecream bars that had been out of the freezer for an hour. I did not intend for that to happen but so many unplanned events transpired which caused it to. Not Costco's fault at all so I was fully expecting them to say no but hoping that maybe they'd be gracious and understand that life happens sometimes. So upon going to customer service and asking if it was at all possible, the supervisor, who was the one who attended to me coincidentally, told me no, they dont usually do that, but he'll make an exception this time. I was very appreciative of him doing that but what disappointed me was the attitudes behind it. Another customer service rep jokingly said, "who returns those" and the supervisor responds "she let them sit out in her car for an hour, but we are going to put a note on her account" out loudly causing all of the other customer service reps and people around to look dead at me. He then explains, we have to throw these out and thats why we dont usually do it which is 1000% understandable and which is why I never complained or questioned anything. I felt so terrible and almost told him, thats ok, I'll just keep it and toss it. I honestly would've preferred him to just say, "we cant do that" instead of making the exception and then loudly announcing that I left it sitting in the car for an hour and we're placing a note on the account to embarrass me like that. I could partially understand that response if I had complained or made a fuss about not being able returning the item, but I didn't. I just went to cs, asked if it was possible, and he immediately told me he'd make an exception. I didn't even ask him to make an exception. He just offered and I was appreciative of that. I would've completely understood if they said no because again, its not their fault. Also, Im relatively new to costco so Im not familiar with their return policies so after I left the store, I looked up if you can return food items b/c after that interaction, I assumed the answer would have been no in regards to perishable items but upon looking at their policy, it literally states you can return items even if you ate some of it and decided that you did not like it. They just don't want you abusing their policy which is 100% understandable and something that I would never do! I would just toss the food item and never buy it again instead of returning it. I have only returned 3 things to costco, 1 unopened non perishable food item, 1 non food item, and the icecream bars that I returned today and have spent HUNDREDS if not thousands of dollars during the time I have been shopping there so Im am 100% confused by this reaction from the customer service staff. This review is not to bash Costco because as I have said, so far at all of the other locations I've been to, the customer service has been good, it was just disappointing and surprising to see not as many polite staff at this location today. Im hoping this was just an off day and that they were stressed b/c of how busy it was, but Im really disappointed by...
Read morePower tripping cashier. I have been going to Costco for ages with pleasant experiences. Today, however, was not that day. I guess at this Costco berating customers is their policy. I forgot my Costco card, but my dad was with me and he is on my same corporate card so no biggie...right? The first words out of the cashier's mouth wasn't hello or any greeting. It was "are you using his Costco Card?" I said yes... but we have the same corporate Costco card and we are under same corporate debit card... no biggie right? No.... she said no way... but she will let it happen this one time. Wait... what? I said... no big deal... my dad will pay with his debit card... no big deal... right? No. She continued. She began berating me that I'm trying to use his card. I just kept quiet and until it was too much and told her that she will not power trip on me. Told her to stop and this is unnecessary. Save her berating for another customer. She was not happy. She needed the high or something. She definitely wasn't Costco material. But the manager I went to tell her behavior on wasn't any better. I said I wanted her apology... he said I wasn't gonna get one today and said "what do you want? A free ice cream? A free pizza? A soda? " Just disgusting... trying to gloss over a lame attempt at an apology with food. He seemed actually mad at me for some strange reason which didn't calm me down rather upset me even more. I finished by leaving my number for the cashier to call me privately to apologize. I won't hold my breath and won't go back to this Costco. Just bad unnecessary power trip here. Update: Finally received a call from Costco after 2 weeks only because I emailed Corporate... only to be told that she was sorry. But she couldn't provide paperwork that states the policy. I wanted to talk to a supervisor to no avail... I wish I never had gone...

Was physically blocked from entering the store by a very passive aggressive guy who insisted on seeing my Costco visa. I don't know why I was stopped because he wasn't paying any attention to the other people entering the store. I'm guessing it's because we're an interracial couple. Produce was better but the Eggs were smashed and all over the place. Ended up getting some on my pants. Never happened before at any other Costco. The guy at the food court was super sweet to my white GF but was very terse with a Hispanic guy. They both asked the same question: is this my order
Original review: I have been to Costco's all over the country. This Costco is an exception, in the sense that it is organized like a Sam's Club and staff don't seem very friendly. Consequently, it was pandemonium in here even though there were not that many people as I usually expect on a Saturday afternoon in most other Costco locations. Here are a few examples: There's a whole bunch of dairy that is in a separate isle outside the dairy room in a separate refrigerator that you have to go and look for. Vegetables in the produce section were shoved here and there. I got the stuff I was looking for but it was smashed in between something else. At the self checkout, the staff supervising was ornery and overly hovering around the customers, like they were sneaking up on us. 6 ft distance? Nope. I did not see any stand here stickers like they usually have...
