Tumble Town Playground — Local services in Commerce Charter Township

My experience at Tumble Town was nothing short of a nightmare, and I would strongly urge other parents to stay far away. This facility is far from safe for children. The staff member on duty was consistently seated in the back, distracted on her laptop, and unattentuve nor helpful in the area properly.

During our visit, my son was playing an arcade game and reached for a prize after the game ended. Unfortunately, this facility doesn’t dispense prizes, yet the prize compartment was left completely open. As my son reached inside, his hand became stuck in the machine. My husband and I immediately began calling for help, but the staff member took her time getting up and casually responded that she was “enjoying her lunch.”

As I frantically screamed that my son’s hand was trapped, she began searching through a box containing over 20 keys—completely unaware of which one belonged to the machine in question. At the same time, she was on FaceTime with the owner, panicking after realizing I had called 911 since my sons hand was gushing in blood.

My son sustained multiple cuts to his fingers and ultimately required stitches. This entire situation could have been avoided with basic safety measures—such as taping shut machines that don’t dispense prizes—and proper employee training where each key to each game is located.

This experience was traumatic and unacceptable. There are plenty of safe, well-managed facilities for children—this is not one of them. Please consider the safety of your child and...

We recently hosted a party at Tumble Town Playground and it couldn’t have gone better! From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless, fun, and filled with energy. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring everything ran smoothly while keeping the kids engaged and entertained.

The facility itself is top-notch—clean, well-maintained, and packed with exciting activities that kept the children bouncing, climbing, and sliding with joy for hours. There’s a great mix of safe play zones for different age groups, and the environment felt secure and stress-free for parents.

Referred from family. Cute little place. Safe enough for my 1 year old to run around with mild supervision. I planned for a small birthday party. Cool idea. However, somethings were a little disappointing. I recieved nothing with the birthday package. Not even pitchers of water or pop. No birthday sippy cups for the kids. Not even a table cover. There was a small vending machine to purchase from. We weren't allowed to bring food from outside yet there was nothing offered if we wanted to leave to get food. I was confused. Also the game card that came with the package was a rip off. 10 dollars on it but after it was done??? The kids couldn't exchange it for any gifts like other places.
