I broke my iPhone screen on a Sunday and needed a repair. I called this place and the guy said he had a screen for it. I come in, ask about genuine Apple screens and he has one so I agree to the repair. His credit card machine is down so I have to go get cash. I come back with cash, pick up my phone. Screen looks great, good as new. Turn it back on when I’m almost home and the phone notifies me that it detects a non-apple part on my phone. I reset the phone and same thing. That same day, my phone starts randomly shutting down, multiple times a day. I realize that the guys cc machine was down and I paid cash and never got a receipt. I call several times and never reach anyone. I leave a 1 star review. I get a response “we have no way to contact you, please call so we can fix your screen, there’s a warranty”. I call and tell the guy that my phone is shutting off randomly and saying that it’s not a genuine Apple part. He says that it is a genuine Apple part but he doesn’t have a key or something to make the phone recognize it. Says to bring the phone back and he will replace the screen. Get back to the store and he’s mad that I left a one start review. I agree to delete the review when my phone is working perfectly again. He replaces the screen again. I delete the review and we move on. Two weeks later, I’m at a pool party and drop my phone in the pool. It’s immediately ruined and the screen stops working. It develops ghost touch and I get locked out of my device. I dry the phone out for a week, don’t turn it on, leave it alone. Turn it back on once dry, ghost touch. I go back to the store, guy tells me that I shouldn’t have gotten it wet, they aren’t water proof. I explain that iPhones ARE water resistant and it was in the water for two seconds and should have been fine, if it had a genuine Apple screen. He says that is not true. I go to another phone repair and pay for a genuine Apple screen, again. Fixes the ghost touch and my phone works again, my phone recognizes the genuine Apple part. Only problem, my camera does not work. Now I go to the Apple Store in the mall to get the camera replaced. They tell me that once they got into the phone they saw there was water damage inside the phone so they can’t replace the camera. The guy at the Apple Store says “but I don’t understand how there’s water damage, you have a genuine Apple screen on here”. I explain that at the time the phone dropped in the water, it was a different screen that was supposed to be an apple screen. He says “then it wasn’t a genuine Apple screen and you got ripped off”. So I’ve spent over $700 replacing screens on my phone and have a damaged camera that I can’t use, on a phone that I still owe money on. All this guy had to do, was not lie and tell me he was selling me a genuine Apple screen when he wasn’t. Yeah, I know, I should have had insurance, lots of...
Read moreThese guys are Outstanding! It was a late Saturday morning. I was from out of town and my broken screen naturally wasn't allowing me to use the phone correctly. I was recommended by a local to come here. I was already told by my provider that my phone was discontinued, so I was worried this place wouldn't be able to fix it. The man didn't flinch! Unfortunately, he didn't have the replacement screen in stock, but could have one by that Monday. I admitted to him that I was from out of town, I didn't know where else to go, but knew I wasn't yet able to get another phone. So, he suggested I could try two other local locations, just in case they may have it. During me talking too much..😅, I even mentioned that I was parked in a parking lot behind them, due to hauling a trailer. That actually helped! Another tech in the back, was able to stop me from leaving, cause he found the screen I needed! They even did it that day! It was a Stress Relief, to be able to use my phone again! Thank you guys, for being so Helpful in getting my phone back into shape! I will Recommend Y'all to Anyone that with...
Read moreCame in a few months ago because my sons iPad wouldn’t charge, they said it needed a charging port and he drew a line with his finger around the bottom saying it’s over $100 not including tax because we have to replace this whole piece. My son was so upset because everything he had was on that iPad and I looked at the guy and said that’s really expensive would it be cheaper for me to buy the part and pay for the repair ? He told me no because the part was the most expensive part of the price. I decided we may as well just get another
Come to find out I bought the piece on amazon for $6 and took the screen off myself and it was seriously just unplug this part and plug the new part in. That is absolutely crazy to charge people that much for something so quick and simple and has forever turned me away...
