I have been patronizing this store for several years, mainly during the week on my way to work. Something has changed there in the last couple of months, and not for the better. Most mornings it takes as long as 20 minutes in the drive-thru line, not because there are a lot of people in line but because the employees operating the window seem to think that we have all the time in the world to wait for no reason. I don't need to be asked 50 questions at the speaker - I just want to order my coffee and be on my way. Confirming the order is one thing, but asking the same question 5 times and pushing me to buy bakery over and over - are you SURE you don't want a piece of lemon pound cake? - is not acceptable. Obviously when they do that with every single customer it makes the drive thru time much much longer than it should be. That might be OK on a Sunday morning, but during the week when everyone is on the way to work it's not cool. I have complained about this a couple of times to management, and they brush me off. They don't seem to care. Does nobody else run into this issue at this store? The same thing happened yet again this morning and when I told them that it's a weekday and people have to go to work the kid at the window actually made fun of my complaint. I told him I would simply go to the other Starbucks after this. Obviously they don't care if they lose business over their stupidity. The thing that makes matters worse is that quite often they give me the wrong coffee - I don't order any of the flavored coffees just the regular black coffee. Two strikes and you're out, 105.
Update: stopped in here this morning. First time in months. And guess what? Their excuse this morning is that their grinder was broken and they have no brewed coffee at all. Absolutely ridiculous. Will continue patronizing the 336 North Loop location, even though it is...
Read moreI usually wait weeks to leave reviews, and I guess I technically have because I’ve been coming here for a few weeks (mmm..ok 3 months) and my orders are consistent. The way I choose what location to go to, is first, their reaction to my account name (they love it, makes them chuckle, even had one say “it made my day”) & second, the way my order is never wrong because maybe they don’t want to see the [name] in play, especially not right after opening. The only time I’ve had a mishap at this location (ok, I had one prior with ordering ahead, getting there and door was locked, forcing me to wait in drive-thru line tragedy forever) was this morning when I got way more ice than I normally do, but it was also because I ordered a new drink that I’ve never ordered before. There was so much ice, it almost reached the bottom. I sat in my car and removed it with a travel fork I have (I keep travel items in my vehicle because I drive cross country a lot) and after scooping most out, I knew what I had was not going to get me through the day. So I debated a few min on going back or not, but decided to go ahead and say something and I’m glad I did, because I not only got to keep what was left of my original drink, but they made me a whole other drink with light ice and put it in a bigger cup, so that I could pour my OG drink into that bigger cup. I am just so appreciative of the workers this morning, and the rest of them who make my orders. I literally live 0.3 miles from another location, but drive 10 min to get to this one because at the other one, they just aren’t as pleasant and take...
Read moreStarbucks is a coffeehouse chain that has become a household name worldwide. I recently visited one of their branches for a quick bite and coffee, and here's my review.
The first thing that struck me about the Starbucks was its ambience. The interior was cozy and inviting, with warm lighting and comfortable seating. The decor was minimalistic, with a few green plants and wooden accents, but it gave off a modern and chic vibe.
The menu at Starbucks is quite extensive, offering a wide range of coffee drinks, pastries, sandwiches, and other snacks. I decided to order a latte and a croissant. The latte was perfectly brewed, with a smooth texture and a rich, creamy taste. The croissant was flaky and buttery, and it paired well with the latte.
The staff at the Starbucks were friendly and efficient. They took my order promptly and prepared it quickly. They also offered suggestions on what to try from the menu, which was helpful for someone like me who was new to the place.
Overall, my experience at Starbucks was pleasant. The food and drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a quick bite or a place to hang out...
