The Catch: Conroe — Restaurant in Conroe

I placed an order for pickup and it told me 10 mins. I pulled up to the drive thru and let them know. I pulled around to the window as asked and nobody came to say it’ll be a little bit nothing I sat there patiently 30 minutes later I had already turned my car off. I never complained once and as she asked me what I was there for I told her I was picking up an order she said OK she went and grabbed it so then she brings it to me and I’m going to check my food with a lot of people go and check to make sure they have the right food because a lot of times these places get things mixed up. We’re all human right she has an attitude is like do you need anything else? I said I just wanna check my food and she closes the window I proceed to check my food. It was not everything I ordered I ordered, which is on their website for free no limit you can get any sauce you want however much you want OK I ordered six ranch and six tartar sauce in the bag there was one of each so she came back to the window and I showed her my order and I said yes ma’am I ordered six and six she said oh well I can’t give you all of that with an attitude so I said OK. Can you give me like four and four like I just spent $30 so she then proceeds to tell me well you have some in the bag I’ll give you three and three and then she comes back with only one more of each I said ma’am I thought you told me you were gonna give me three she shut the window with an attitude, then decided she was going to go back grab one more of each so now we have a total of three of each And she hands it to me with another attitude and I politely said ma’am you don’t have to have an attitude it’s on the website. She then decided she was going to catch more of an attitude and didn’t slam the window and smack her lips and like she was just so disgusted with the fact that I asked for what I ordered With their website, their company allows you to order that she was so appalled that I had the nerve to ask for what I ordered I am absolutely disgusted then she decided she was gonna tell me that she didn’t have an attitude and I got an attitude unknown. I ordered what I ordered. You decided you wanted to have an attitude. I don’t make reviews like this and I don’t cause problems. I sat there for 30 minutes waiting on food still didn’t even say anything about that. All I wanted was the stuff to go and buy food so I could be on my merry way. I wasn’t even gonna complain that I sat there for 30 minutes I don’t do reviews like this and I don’t sure don’t do it to get anybody in trouble, but she was absolutely disgusting to me. Then when I asked who the manager was, she said she’s the manager And I said who’s above you she said there is nobody I said so you run this whole story she said no she’s not here. I said what can I get her name and number she said I can’t give you that information. I said then can I at least just get her name she said I can’t give you that either which is wrong she can give me the manager‘s name. She just did not wanna do it then she proceeded to call the cops because I was blocking the Customer behind me. When all she had to do was give me the stuff that I ordered. It’s not my fault that you’re mad about your job or you’re mad cause you ain’t getting paid or somebody called in or whatever it is because we all have jobs. We all have bad days get over yourself and if you can’t do your job then you need to go find another one where you can either work by yourself or work for yourself and not have to deal with people Because in a position like that you should not act the way she just did and then I have to be rude just to get her to understand as she still had an attitude the whole time I still don’t even know her name, but I tell you one thing if I ever see her working in there again, I will turn around and leave. I don’t care if I’m there to spend $300. I will not eat there as long as she is there. She’s a Hispanic lady she Was heavy set and she was very rude. Very rude. I may not...

I tried The Catch for the first time today. I've been to Conroe many times and finally decided to stop by with hopes of satisfying my fried shrimp craving. The online ordering was down so I called my order in and spoke to Eleana. Eleana was very patient and accommodating as I told her my order.

I picked up my order about 15 minutes later. When I entered the restaurant the food was ready, this is always a plus I was thinking about ordering beingnets but I had forgotten to include the beignet when I phoned in my order. It took a few minutes for them to prepare them to go. Eleana was very friendly in person and made sure to include enough condiments since this was my first time trying the food from The Catch.

When I got home to eat, things didn't go so smoothly. I had 3 orders for 3 people including myself. Off the house favorite menu I order the Grilled Jumbo Shrimp (Served with 2 Side Items, Garlic Bread and 2 Hush Puppies), Catch Fried Fish (2) & Jumbo Shrimp (4), and the medium Jumbo Shrimp Served with Catch Fries and 2 Hush Puppies. My home was 5 minutes away so I was able to get home quickly enough to eat the food hot. My girlfriend's catfish and shrimp wasn't good. The shrimp was going bad and made her stomach start to hurt. My fries was under cooked, but my shrimp was okay. The Grilled Shrimp combo was okay.

I decided to return the Catfish and Shrimp combo, because it wasn't edible. The lady at the drive thru assured me it was from a batch from today. However it had a spoiled scent to it and tasted like shrimp that's going bad. The lady refunded my purchase. The beingnets was good. Mine was a little under baked however.

Perhaps today was an off day, I was looking forward to enjoying an awesome meal, but The Jumbo Shrimp was the only thing that was edible out of my meal. The fries was trash, it tasted stale, it was not appetizing at all. The hush puppies were dry and tasted stale. This was the consensus among all 3 of us so it's just not my taste buds.

For the price of the food I doubt I will be be back after this experience. I hope it was just an off day, however I wasn't satisfied and I was still hungry after eating because I was only able to eat the shrimp only from my entree that in life's fries and hush...

Took our family to celebrate our son’s birthday because he wanted seafood. Arrived around 8:15 and were greeted as soon as we walked in. Ordering was quick and our food came out within 10 minutes. Then…not sure what happened but front counter employees vanished. Our son ordered crab but received no crab crackers. He goes to the counter and waits for I know has to be at least 5 minutes. Another customer walks up and is waiting then finally gives up and leaves. I know the kitchen staff can see him standing there but not their job I know so my son continues to wait Finally the young lady comes to the counter and speaks to my son. He comes back empty handed. I ask him what happened. “They don’t have any crab crackers. She said they only have 2 pair because people keep running off with them so those two are already being used.” WHAT? We are at a seafood restaurant that sells crab but don’t have crab crackers so what are we to do, use our teeth?! There were about 4 empty tables not yet cleaned so I walk over to see if any of them have the crab crackers. None of them did then I see a couple who are eating crab. Luckily one of them was finished eating so I asked her if I could go ahead and take her crab crackers and she gave them to me. I walk up to the counter to see if they could at least wash them. Again, no one is at the counter. I continue to wait and I’m getting frustrated because my food and my son’s food is getting cold. At least another 5 minutes pass before someone comes out and helps me. Not gonna lie, I was very angry by then but I always try to put myself in others shoes and just give them a break. Being close to closing time maybe everyone was in the back cleaning up, I don’t know. All I know is I left disappointed and felt like for an $80 meal y’all shouldn’t be selling crab without crab crackers! At least tell the customer the situation so they don’t have to wait and go find some on their own. Don’t know when or even if we will go back but hope y’all buy some crab crackers for $16 off Amazon...
