This is the first time I've placed an order with this company. And is definitely the last. When I initially ordered what I wanted, I was informed that I would be receiving a confirmation email for the order. The only confirmation I got was from PayPal stating that I made payment. Nothing from Edwards Freeman. So the next day I sent a simple message asking if they had received my order. No response. Next day I received a message from UPS that my order was being shipped.Great! Nothing from Edwards Freeman. Next day I receive my package(yay) and wonderful, three bags are partially melted and 1bag completely melted. If this is how you take care of first time customers, I'm surprised you have a business at all. I am thoroughly disappointed and disgusted. No “yes, we received your order. Thank you." They have their own parking lot, and a handicap accessible ramp. The website is very interesting and explains the history and evolution of the company which originally dates back to 1899. They describe the business as, “An old-fashioned nut “museum” and candy “landmark”…[and] a pillar of the community”, contributing to community and civic affairs.
