I cannot thank GWW B&B enough for such a wonderful morning the day of my wedding! Long story short, the Airbnb I originally booked for the night before my wedding canceled on me 3 weeks before the wedding! My bridesmaid did a quick online search and found this beautiful bed and breakfast. I work in Conshohocken and was able to head over for a quick visit to scope out the house and scenery for wedding photos. It was absolutely immaculate and so gorgeous, and I knew I had to book there!||||I was able to book three rooms for myself and my bridesmaids. The wonderful owners, Carol and Joe, met with me and my now husband the weekend before our wedding to review our timeline and what vendors would be popping in and out (makeup, hair, photographer, videographer). They also even asked what the girls and I would like for breakfast! ||||The morning of our wedding was absolutely perfect! My 5 bridesmaids, mother, mother-in-law, grooms-lady and 2-year old niece had an amazing and delicious breakfast spread and we were able to use the sunroom and front room to get our hair and makeup done. Carol, Joe and their team were so accommodating and spent the morning with us! ||||The rooms in the home (bedrooms, front rooms, dining room, etc.) were wonderfully decorated, comfortable and so inviting. It honestly felt like we were spending time in our own homes---we felt so welcomed! My wedding photographer took the most beautiful photos! He was so excited to see that we were going to be getting ready and doing our first look in this unique and beautiful setting. ||||Carol and Joe, you two are an amazing couple and this bed and breakfast is such an amazing adventure! Thank you so...
Read moreWe were pleased to stay three nights at the George Washington Wood B&B while in Philadelphia for a class reunion. The interesting older home is one of a few saved almost intact and repurposed inside to conform to the needs of a modern B&B.|Conshohocken has many of these elegant structures and we were able to appreciate some of them on our walks around the quiet 5th Ave /Fayette neighborhood.|Hard to believe an actual trolley line existed on Fayette.||Drew and Necy, the baker and cook innkeepers could not have been nicer and more helpful, and we loved the early coffee and delicious breakfasts they served.| |Inside, the air conditioned rooms are on the second or third floor, which means stairs. Our room, the Laura Wood one is the only one without a closet which was the only drawback.|We slept well and found the place pretty comfy and serene, enjoyed our fellow travelers and delighted in the breakfasts and hosts.|Never turned on the TV!|We wish them and the new( three month old B&B,) old George Washington Wood House all good fortune. I think the historical name of the house may be different , but you can look it up in the old area books found in the sitting...
Read moreWe were in town visiting family and this inn was simply perfect. What a beautiful, lovingly restored home; what a restful, cozy, immaculate space; what a friendly and welcoming pair of innkeepers; what a tasty and sumptuous breakfast. I could go on and on. This was an absolutely flawless experience.||The restoration work is perfect and brand new (I believe they opened in early 2019). Besides being a short drive to Philadelphia, the house is also directly across the street from a large, lovely public park. There is nothing quite like spending an early morning sipping the inn's excellent coffee on the second floor shared balcony whilst overlooking the greenery, watching families stroll and children play.||The innkeepers, Drew and Neecey, were extremely kind, friendly, and helpful. They made our stay a joy.||We happily and enthusiastically recommend this beautiful, restful place. We can't...
