Advanced ESI - Smart Home - Automation — Attraction in Siesta Key

This company was named Advanced Audio when I contracted with them in 2005 for a $70,000 whole house audio video system. Although the sales guy lied and backed down on promises made their technical people and service department was very good and I was happy with the system that they installed. My system is now old and obsolete and some of the features no longer work. Recently I received a promotional email from the new company (Advanced ESI) and I responded and expressed an interest in modernizing and updating my system. I was put in contact with one of their sales people who tried calling me and left a message. I returned the call and the sales guy was "In a meeting". I called several more times over the next few days and never reached him. I left a voice mail after several failed attempts to reach him and someone returned my call and left me a voice mail; asking me to call back. Even though I left my name and number each time I called the person asked that call back and leave my name because they didn't know who I was. I eventually gave up, sent an email and received an email response blaming me because I was not available when they called back. I suppose they forgot who the customer is. Their business needs real people to answer and direct calls and not rely on voice mail systems. Since their sales people seem very busy it proved impossible for me to reach someone even though I made attempts for a week. I thought that if it was this difficult to reach someone even though I was a potential customer who could be spending $20,000 for a system upgrade, how difficult would it be to reach them for service once they sold me a system. We chose Advanced ESI to design, install and integrate a wide range of Smart Home technology in our new home and we couldn’t be happier with the results. We opted for whole home Audio / Video distribution, programable thermostats, video surveillance, and Lutron dimmers & power shades — all of which can be controlled via app or voice commands. Now, when we want to watch TV in the evening, we say “Hey Siri, watch TV” and the Family Room TV turns on, the lights dim and the shades go down. We’ve continued to find new ways to use this technology including preparing meals, dining inside or out, getting ready for bed, going to sleep, leaving/returning home, going on vacation, entertaining, and creating a welcoming look for guest rooms.

Advanced ESI made the whole process absolutely painless. They provided us with excellent advice and patiently explained the options so that we could fully understand the pros and cons of the alternatives. The installation team was awesome! They were highly skilled, professional and thorough. When things didn’t work as they should, their team would point it out and made the extra effort to make sure everything was right. And while there were changes along the way, these were fairly priced and, in retrospect, really improved the result.

But perhaps most importantly, Advanced ESI continues to stand behind their work. With daily use, we occasionally find something we’d like to change or minor glitches that need to be fixed. Often we can make the adjustments ourselves but, when we need them, Advanced ESI has proven to be very responsive and fair.
