If I could give a zero I would. I have been trying to get a recliner fixed that was delivered to me BROKEN. They have a “no return policy” this includes exchanging the chair out for one that actually works. Remains in the reclined position. I requested a date in October this year to get it fixed, as I live only part time at this home, instead they closed out the ticket. Mailed the part twice, now can’t get fixed until December 2023. I bought this chair in May!! Will never buy from Ashley again. The hours I have spent on this I will never get back. Ridiculous! Update: 12/14/23…. The repair man came to fix my chair on Monday, Ashley has sent 4 parts here, none of them were the motor which Ashley requested he change out. Ashley said the distribution center would call me, they did not. They said they don’t have a protocol to pick up the wrong parts sent, another person told me the repair man would pick up the parts, he was in a car and drove here from Houston, they do not pick up Ashley parts. 20 different answers from 20 different people. Went to the location I bought nearly $4,000 worth of furniture from and was told “just call customer service”, duh. The extra parts are in huge boxes, I don’t have room for them. He told me the manager was not in, but yes, if I brought the parts to them they would take them. I did that today, no one helped me, they were laughing at me from the front window and recording me. I opened the door and said “you really think that it’s funny this has been going on since May, that Ashley can’t even send the correct parts that they won’t even pick I the parts sent by mistake or pay to have them disposed of!” Then I left and called Ashley again. I finally reached someone, Sierra, a supervisor that was helpful. In the meantime Ashley called the cops, and I was told to remove the boxes or I wound get a citation for littering. Even though Ashley sent all the wrong items I was told they were now my property. And because Ashley cares so much for their customers I was also told if I ever entered the store again I would be arrested for trespassing. So I didn’t leave the parking lot until Ashley agreed, after hours on the phone, to remove the boxes. They were not going back into my vehicle, I would have taken the citation and gone to court before that happened. I’m sure they would have been laughing and recording while I tried to lift the giant boxes into my car. Now I’m supposed to go pick out another chair, they no longer make the recliner I purchased, SURPRISE!!! But, if I go into the Pharr store I will be arrested!! Yeah, like I want to go in and be bullied snd victimized some more! The officer did say it’s okay to picket at the store, totally within my rights. My other option is to get a lawyer for the 7 months of Ashley hell. I just want to add that I have never ever experienced anything like this. They are bullies and now I’m expected to go to another store and pick out another chair? Why couldn’t they just do the right thing to begin with? FYI, just down the road is a Rooms To Go…. They are awesome, no issues at all when I got my sofa sleeper. Another update: Ashley is giving me a full price return and picking up the broken chair due to all the issues and how I was treated today in person at the store. PS I like how the “owner” only responds to good reviews, and zero issues trying to help a customer that’s having 7 months of issues, but instead...
Read moreDO NOT BUY FROM HERE. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I payed for a $300 dresser IN FULL 3 months ago. When it was delivered 3 weeks later, it came broken on the corner. We immediately called customer service, and we were told that they would send someone to inspect the dresser within a week. A week passed and no one came, so we called again. Then they said that before they can send someone to inspect the dresser, they had to ship us some screws and bolts, which would take about another week. A week passed and we didn’t receive anything, so we called again. We were told that we never needed to be sent screws and bolts and whoever said that was wrong, and that we needed to schedule an exchange date. We scheduled the date for the earliest available date, which was for a month later. No prioroty was given to us event though we had bought our dresser 2 months before and has just been strung around by the Ashley’s furniture company while they already had my money so I couldn’t buy another dresser. A few days before the exchange date, we got a call to confirm the appointment, and we did. Then a couple of days after that we got an email asking us to confirm the date again, and since we did not confirm through email within 24 hours, our schedule exchange date was cancelled even though we had already confirmed through the phone a few days before. We then had to call to make another appointment. My husband chose the wrong date, so I called back to change it. I chose the earliest date from the options given, which was 2 days from that day, and then at the end of the call, the operator said the date was confirmed. Then the next day we call to confirm the date and we’re told our appointment date was not changed at all and it was impossible to have chosen that day in the first place because it was too soon and did not give an explanation as to why that date was an option then if it was impossible to deliver that day. He rescheduled our delivery for a week from now. I still have not gotten the dresser, and it’s been 3 months. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE if you want to be able to use the furniture you buy. Customer service is completely incompetent and does not know what they are doing. You are told one thing and then something that contradicts it. We have been stressed...
Read moreWe purchased a dining room table on April 20th. Our experience with the salesman was great. Our furniture was scheduled for delivery on May 4th but was rescheduled to May 16th due to there were two missing parts. Parts were scheduled to be arrive at their warehouse on the 14th so we agreed for delivery on the 16th. Delivery was made timely however they weren’t able to fully assemble the table due to they were missing the base and so other part. Neither my husband or I knew that if they left the table at our house the sale was final. The delivery man left the table belly up sitting on four of the new chairs. When my husband called me to let me know of the delivery I immediately called Ashley’s Customer Service to ask them to have the table picked up but I was informed they don’t take back used furniture. I let them know it wasn’t used, it had just been delivered less than an hour ago and it was fully assembled therefore we couldn’t use it.The answer was still no. I asked to speak to a manager. The transferred me to a supervisor and I was told the same thing. We couldn’t return it. I ask to speak to someone one in upper management but no one called me back. I went to the store after work and spoke to our salesman and he said there was nothing he could do. I let him know I wanted to speak to someone in upper management. He said he’d send an email but again no one called me back. I have make several calls but I get the same answer over and over and upper management never calls me back. Missing parts are due for delivery June 16th. Two months after original purchase. I can’t believe how inconsiderate they have been over this situation. Apparently Ashley’s doesn’t care much about customer satisfaction and the inconvenience they have caused my family. And to make matters worse I’ve actually made the first payment on something we can’t use. I will never ever step into an Ashley store again. I am telling ever family and friends of our experience with Ashley’s. We had a similar experience about 7 or 8 years ago with Ashley’s but we were able to return the furniture that time. We thought we’d give Ashley’s a second chance but...
