Team member name was Grecia and apparently she was the manager. Order starts out fine she’s making me my burrito but on a little tiny piece of tinfoil with the majority of the tortilla being on the dirty counter. I make a comment during the making of it and point out that it’s on the counter and say “idk how I feel about that being in the counter” she continues on asking me what I want on the burrito. When we get to the end she is wrapping the burrito and the contents go onto the counter. After which she scoops it back into the burrito, wraps it and hands it to the gentlemen who will ring me up. I ask him if I could have the burrito re-made because it was on the counter. He kindly re-directs me back to the beginning of the process where she is and she says what’s the problem. I tell her I don’t mean to be a bother but if I could have the burrito re-made I didn’t like that it was being drug across the counter (which was dirty) during the making of it and my food was on the counter. She then stated she’d give me a new tortilla and put the contents of this one in the new tortilla. I then say well the food came out and went onto the counter and you scooped it up and put it back in so I’d rather just have it re-made. She then tells me well that she’s going to charge me for another burrito then. I say “what? I don’t think it’s too much to ask to not want to eat food that has been on a counter” she responded with “well we clean our counters so you’re good” I ask it to be re-made again. She’s upset but reluctantly throws the burrito away and starts again with no burrito on the counter this time! Yay! Except now when we get to the end she just smooshes the “burrito” into a ball and wraps the tinfoil around it and passes me to the register guy again. I pay and ask him if he can re-wrap my “burrito” she comes over asks what the problem is and I tell her the same thing. That I already paid I was just wondering if it could be re-wrapped. She refuses and I say I don’t understand what the big deal is I’m just asking if you can re-wrap the burrito I mean it doesn’t even look like one look at it. I ask the lady next to me “I mean am I crazy?” And she smiles and nods her head and sleepily says “no I’d want it re-wrapped too” in which Grecia’s response was “well this is how we wrap burritos here at chipotle” I pull out my phone and ask her to say that again in camera (which she wouldn’t) so instead I just took a photo of it which will be attached. I then ask the guy who rang me up where the manager was when he horrifingly replied with “she is the manager” I’ve never such bad customer service nor had anything negative to say about chipotle I go every day after the gym. Read moreExtremely rude staff. They think customers are stealing when you reclaim a wrong order, and treat you like a thief. I had ordered large chips and a small side of queso, when I received a regular bag with no “large” sticker I went to the counter and asked for a large bag. The staff member handed me a large bag in a very rude manner, for no reason and with no prior interaction other than asking for my food, and said I could keep my regular sized bag. Not a minute after we sat the down the same staff member returns to our table and says we ordered a regular bag of chips and asked we return the large bags (which we did with no objection, and the bag unopened), all this in a condescending manner, assuming we were lying about our order. The staff member snatched the bag from our table and smashed it into the trash can directly behind us, looking at our table as she walked back toward the kitchen. The pharr location was my favorite until last week that I went last week on Thursday my steak was raw and sticky disgusting couldn’t even chew. I started noticing that it was not only a piece but the whole steak in my bowl. My friend had the same thing happen to him and we went to ask if they can remake it and employee said that the steak is cooked medium well which I don’t see that in the menu advertised that way plus I am regular customer the steak never been raw & red. The employees didn’t even care to ask if I wanted something else or a refund I had to take to again and ask myself if I can get something else but the lady gave me attitude and didn’t want my food handed that way.
