Update #2 So now I'm not your customer? How would I know the layout of your store, if I've never been there? I wish that were true because you obviously don't deserve nor did you appreciate my business. Original review: Your store is small and the layout is awkward but I have overlooked that in STILL SUPPORTING YOUR BUSINESS. What I cannot overlook is the fact that I've spent lots of money there and your very rude when you want to be. You don't mind taking my money in person but very rushed and rude over the phone. Your wife has tested my water on several occasions. I've bought lots of plants from you, fish food and lots of fish meds. I've also purchased several black & white marble angel fish (they died fast) from the huge tank in the front of the store, that's heavily planted and has lots of various fresh water fish. I've bought plants from the big triangle shaped tank in the center of the store, also with fish and heavily planted. I've also purchased guppies and mollies from you. You keep all the smaller fresh water fish on the left wall. The white lady is who you direct me to whenever I have questions about them. So don't LIE and say, I'm not your customer Sir. What you can say is: I am a PREVIOUS customer and I will never come back! Good variety of fish but the awkward layout of the space & lack of customer service wasn't very welcoming. Wouldn't go back Update: They don't mind taking your money in person but NEVER have time to answer simple questions by phone! Very off putting,...

My fish tank has been absolutely thriving since I've started shooping here. I have a had a freshwater setup for about a year and half and its amazing. Stocked with hearty fish and the fish are healthy. The personell at this location are extremely friendly (my man and his wife) and I highly recommend this fish store. At Atlanta Aquarium they are more than just a retail fish store. They ensure that you are learning correctly while supplying the best of coral and fish for reef setups and live plants and awesome fish for freshwater setups based on your level of expertise. Be honest with them! When I first started shopping here they wouldnt sell my roomates fish based on what they told them until they saw a water supply. Our water was fine however they tested it for free and it clearly shows they care about their craft. Not a lot of fish stores will do this!

I just started a reef tank and I have been coming here since I realized other fish stores dont have the same level of love. My reef tank has been up for a couple of weeks and its thriving. They will get you right!!!

Do not go to another fish store thinking you will get this quality!

Atlanta Aquarium blows anybody out of the water when it comes to the fish game. (No pun intended) but with that being said please come down here and let them know Rah sent you. I promise you won't be...

When I walked in I was not greeted. I was not helped either after 20 minutes, but I did find a good selection of freshwater fish. So, I left and came back. I was helped moderately in spurts by the owner who did not give me accurate information about the fish. He tried to up sell me a cichlid who he claimed was a schooling fish and left us to help someone who was buying saltwater life., I was frustrated and started shopping his competitors and considered leaving when Frederico came over and set the record straight about the cichlid, as well as the other fish we were looking at. He helped immensly by catching and bagging exactly which fish I wanted and showing us our options for algae eaters. He was thorough and he was educated, and he pulled up pictures of some of the fish to show us what they would grow to look like. This place is pricy, but a good selection. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the attempt to up sell and not being truthful about their product. Not sure if we will return, but will definitely check out other aquarium stores. If you do decide to shop here, beware of the owner as well as the amount of time you have because we spent over an hour and we're moderately cared for. See Frederico for...

❗𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗜𝗦 𝗔 𝗙𝗜𝗦𝗛 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗘𝗢𝗥𝗚𝗜𝗔 𝗔𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗨𝗠❗ The Georgia Aquarium and Atlanta Aquarium are two different places, in two different towns, and two different businesses. At the Atlanta Aquarium you can purchase fish as well as fish supplies such as plants, food, etc. This place does NOT have exhibits such as seals, dolphins, penguins, and manta rays. These things are at the GEORGIA AQUARIUM which is located in the actual CITY of Atlanta on Baker St NW! If you are looking for supplies for your pet fish and are looking to speak with someone who has knowledge of the fish they are selling, Atlanta Aquarium is the place to go! Please be diligent, aware, and mindful to not confuse Atlanta Aquarium with the Georgia Aquarium. These names are not interchangeable.

One of the biggest and coolest aquariums I’ve ever been to! While it might be a little pricey it’s definitely worth it! There are so many exhibits and different things you can do while you are there! There are multiple shows available that provide a good way to sit and relax for a little bit. I would definitely come back but would recommend arriving early to beat the crowds. The aquarium also has multiple interactive exhibits where you can touch the animal’s with the aid of an employee. I would suggest planning to spend about three hours there simply due to the size and amount of things to see!
