Today I’m leaving the store for the fourth time after getting my screen fixed in one week. First time was a faulty screen I get that it happens. Second time my home button completely failed the day after getting it fixed. Called had a hard reset done with Apple just to check see if it’s the software because anyone with an Apple phone knows the software can get messed up. Go and get a third screen only to have the home button not register my finger. Told to come back and see what they can do when I had more time. Come back today to find the guy who was helping me fired and told it was the software and to have a hard reset done even tho it was already done. So not only did they mess up my phone I have never been so disappointed in a customer service staff. When being told the guy who was helping me no longer worked there another employee butts in to tell me he was fired. Then the same guy who never wears a name tag and is always eating when I’m in the store 4 different times mind you is talking trash about customers and the fired employee. To top it off continues in front of the store manager dale about the employee and customers and then trashes “kids these day” saying they are lazy and don’t want to work. I am a full time student with a full time job and running a business. I don’t call that lazy. Coming from a person who spends a lot of time making sure my customers are happy hearing this I sad an disrespectful to anyone. I do not recommend this store for anything unless you want to leave the store with people talking about you because they have nothing better to do with...
Read moreI needed a battery for my S4 mini....way too long. A friend had purchased a new battery for his phone several months b4. He paid rite at $43 for it at Batteries Plus Bulbs. I thought that price was extremely high compared to EBAY and Amazon....and even the Samsung Factory Outlet. All 3 of those carried OEM Samsung "new"...old stock batteries. Batteries that were made at the same time my S4 mini was. The reviews varied...but for the most part...people said their new battery wasn't much better than the one they replaced. Even if the battery only costs $10...what good is it if it doesnt work? Got to looking at Batteries Plus Bulbs reviews for S4 mini batteries. All reviews were positive. Everyone impressed with how long the charge lasted. I noticed that the S4 mini battery at B+B was made by Duracell. For some reason Samsung can't make the same battery fit more than one phone. Most phone batteries are the same voltage. They could easily make 10 or less standard size batteries that would fit and work in every cell phone made. That would be making it too easy on the consumers that spend millions on their products. Then...Samsung doesn't bother to produce new batteries for old phones. Not sure why Duracell does...but Im surely glad they do. Seems like the Duracell battery from Batteries Plus Bulbs lasts longer than the original Samsung battery. $43 is a lot compared to $10...this case is definitely a time when "you get what you pay for". Read moreI am disgusted by the disrespect for customers here and concerned the materials they use are cheap and fraudulent. I had my iPhone screen fixed on 2/15. They sold me a new tempered glass screen protector and an otter box phone case. On 4/28 my phone dropped off the bathroom counter when I was getting ready in the morning. It fell maybe 3 feet... and the phone screen shattered. The tempered glass was fine and not even scratched, but the actual phone screen underneath is shattered. The bottom left corner doesn’t even work, I can’t make calls, check emails, or type responses to texts. I went back and explained it has been just a couple months and the phone protector they applied, and the phone case they sold me, did not protect the screen. Either the products failed or the screen replacement they installed was cheap and fraudulent. The workers said there was nothing they could do. I asked if they would discount the service at the very least since it had been such a short period of time, but the staff continued to blame me and say it was my fault because I dropped the phone. Let me be clear.. I did not slam my phone to the ground or toss it across a room. It simply slipped and dropped. There is no reason the phone should’ve shattered with such materials and products they sold me on. It’s also very poor business to blame the customer. I will never recommend...
