Beach Resort By Ocean Reef Resorts — Attraction in Miramar Beach

Casablanca - oceanfront house in Santa Rosa, FL --- we stayed there 07/02/23 to 07/09/23 --- the view and location are definitely five star but that is where it ends --- prior to booking we were told by Ocean Reef Resort personnel that this was a five star property that had a major remodel in 2022 and property had a standard size in deck pool that would accommodate the size of our group --- the entire property is in need of some major TLC from top to bottom, inside and out ---

Second day of our stay we called Ocean Reef because the 2nd floor ac was not working (90 degree or higher temperature daily) and the pool needed cleaning from previous occupants --- five days later ac company came and could not repair the ac (contractor was familiar with the property and stated ac problems was major and had existed for quite sometime - contractor could do nothing to fix second floor ac) --- five days after initial complaint the pool was finally cleaned --- the pool (or sauna as we called it) was definitely not big enough for our group (the only person that used the pool was our five year old grandson - very disappointing) --

I have left two reviews on this property on Ocean Reef's website but they do not seem to be posted ---

We explained what our expectations were and were told this was the five star property we were looking for. It was extremely disappointing that our expectations were not met and that the rental agency showed little to no concern.

What I call Ocean Reef Resort’s Destin Florida’s ————Tough Luck Policy——-

Customer service at Ocean Reef was very poor. Our accommodations had a faulty water sensor that shutoff water service every morning and evening of our stay. With 3 family and kids staying in the 3 bed room condo this created major issues with our ability to get the day started. People were stuck in the shower, we could not prepare food or even brush our teeth until making a number of calls were made and then had to wait for the sensor company to remotely turn the sensor off. At night similar issues arose with preparing dinner and getting kids to bed. When we reached out to Ocean Reef they basically told us there was nothing they could do. They also didn’t offer to compensate us for the time lost. The issue was at Ariel Dunes...

Excellent, excellent, excellent. From check-in, to location, to accommodation, to check-out. Everything was excellent. We stayed at the 7E condo, and had a wonderful time. The condo was clean, and the accommodations were as to be expected. We were a 5 minute walk from the beach, right next to a gas station for any refreshments or snacks needed, and had everything we could possibly need for a week of relaxation. We had never visited the 30A strip, but will definitely be back. Amazing location, at a great price, with great communication from the owners. We will see...
