This was the worst experience my family has ever had at a restaurant. I don’t think I’ve ever been treated so rudely in my lifetime! We saw their positive reviews and wanted to try them last. Our party of four was told it was a 60-90 min wait, which I get so I asked if I could order to go and wait in my car since their sign said all parties needed to wait outside or in their car. She was so short and rude with me, said no and made me feel like that was an absurd request. As negative as that experience was I thought, let’s get there early tomorrow and try again. We saw another family we knew around town today and told them our dinner plans. We got there at 4:30 to be first in line since they opened at 5 and the other family showed up around 4:50. A lady cracked the door open right at 5 and told us not to waste our time because they don’t accept parties of more than 6. I told her that’s no problem since we are two different parties. We only needed a table for four for our family and the other family could make their own reservation. She told us we couldn’t do that because we knew each other (what?!?) and that it would stop another party of four from being able to eat there. I was like “But we’ve been here for thirty minutes and are only a party of four and there’s no other parties of four besides that other group so why can’t we get our family a table for four?” I honestly didn’t understand and still don’t. Why would a potential party of four that might show up later get priority over a party of four that has been waiting for 30 minutes? I asked these questions, truly seeking to understand as she was being super rude, which embarassed me In front of my children, but she continued to get more rude and heated in how she responded to my honest questions seeking to understand why my family of four was being told to leave. As she continued to get more agitated and I was more embarassed, now in front of my family AND other strangers getting in line I just told my family to get in the car and we’ll find something else. And we did. The service and food was amazing. I’ll visit the other restaurants from this trip every time we come but would never give a red cent to these...

Read moreWe have a vacation home here and visit often. We like to support small businesses. We were so delighted to have found this place. The owner Andy, is very personable and outgoing. It’s a family run business, and it is very small. They are still sitting everyone separately, due to covid, and as I said it’s a very small place. They have several tables and chairs stacked in the foyer, not using them, assuming they are still spacing people bc of covid, or they can not fill the demand of any more tables/chairs out. Do not plan on getting in if you have more than 4 in your party. We arrived at 6:15, and were told a 3-4 hour wait.(yet they don’t take reservations) To be such a small place they need to take reservations, if they want to keep it run efficiently. Lunch time, maybe not, but dinner reservations should be taken. Two of the women that were trying sign us in and our party, had horrible attitudes. Not pleasant. If it’s a family owned business, typically they are apologetic and at least say, we are happy you chose us, unfortunately we can’t seat you, but if you can wait, we will see if we can accommodate you. They had people in front of us on a list, she said, but no one was there. And the 4 hour wait was a bit extreme to tell us, and the attitude was disheartening, bc our last time here in April, it was amazing. We rent our home, and I have a list of restaurants that are a must, taking this place off our list, and not recommending anymore. Disappointed and will not be back, after being treated the...
