Absolutely the worst experience my wife and my daughter has ever had at this Disney store!! We had been out shopping at the outlets all day having a great time with the family, until we entered our favorite store! My wife was bending over to look at some ornaments with our daughter and her mask slipped down under her nose she went to put it back up and Kylie at the front door was telling her to put her mask on that these are their guidelines! My wife understood all of that, she went on to argue and argue and harass my wife. My wife kept telling her that she had her mask on that all she was doing was pulling it up, this was a very young girl arguing with a grown woman iām assuming because the store has giving her some authority so theyāre using it to the best of their knowledge! It was absolutely embarrassing and humiliating, then another staff member walked over and asked her if she wanted a face shield she said no she did not wanna face shield she had her mask on and all of this happened because it slipped underneath her nose and she was putting it back on! This girl argued and argued my wife finally picked up my daughter and left the store and told her that we were going to get her for her for harassment! This is absolutely ridiculous. Every single store we walked into today no one said anything to us until we walked in the Disney store, we wear the mask for respect, But harassed when itās not the exact way that they want it! My wife also told her that she cannot legally tell her what to do that she was doing nothing wrong She was putting it back on her face! The problem is every item gets touched in the store by thousands of people every week are they going behind us and sanitizing every single merchandise, of course not!! They should be ashamed of their self and the way they are treating people because of this! Shame on Kylie for even thinking that she can sit there and argue with customers, iām assuming it was very satisfying for her! Shame on this Disney store for doing this to people! How was this place of business able to treat people the way they are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery disappointing trip to this location. Every yr we go on vacation 11 hrs away to destin. Every yr we are there on my, now 8 yr old girls, birthday. We have made it a tradition to take her as a family and allow her to pick out her birthday presents. This yr the store, and its overzealous employees, made it impossible to do so. They had a "station" at the door to sanitize and "mask up". As with most places, they encourage but do not DEMAND such things. My son and I told her we did not have masks. We were told we MUST do as she said. I asked her if she was denying us service. She said yes. I reminded her there is no law requiring such things. There is no state mandate. There is no county or city mandate stating such as well. Not that it matters, but no city, county, or state mandate can be enforced if its in direct violation of the constitution. Not to mention the Americans with disabilities act that prohibits denying service without disclosure of such conditions prohibiting those that cannot wear them. She said she didnt care, we could not come in. So we sat outside and missed the entire thing with our 7 yr old. JUST before my wife and daughter left the manager told her she did NOT have the authority to do what she did. Nothing else was said or done. Not that anything could have replaced a beloved tradition. She ruined it. The restrictions are ridiculous anyways as "masking up" doesn't do anything for the spread of covid, or anything else for that matter, by touch. You have a store with thousands of items being touched by hundreds and hundreds of people daily. Everyone touching the same door to enter and the exchange of items and money/cards between associates and customers. If you want to wear a mask, fine. However, you do not have the right to force others to do so. You do not "have the right" to infringe on other peoples rights...

The store is using the same mask guidelines that I have seen at other Disney locations such as stores in Orlando and Tampa and the Walt Disney World Resort hotels and parks. I visit the parks monthly. I feel confident in how the store is managing the challenges of the pandemic.
I have gotten some amazing things at this store and some great deals. The cast members go above and beyond to try and find an item that someone wants.
The outlet mall can be very busy especially when it is tourist season and on any day that it is raining. This store is especially popular. My favorite time to go is early in the day on a nice day. The store has been reset and straightened up and everything looks wonderful. The cast members keep the store tidy all during the day but when it is very busy, things get āmoved aroundā by guests quickly.
The management at this store leads by example and is consistently out front...
