I received a gift for my birthday on Nov. 2nd, my fiancé purchased a total off 4 bottles of fragrances from your company that day. He arrives home with 2 for himself and 2 for me. I then open both bottles to smell them to see if I would like them, one bottle was great and the other bottle was not so great. He informed me that the bottle I do not like, the cashier sold him on it “it’s the best” “it’s a hot seller”, so he went with it. (Cashier#5904). I then look at the receipt and it reads I have “7 days to return my unopened items??”
I visited your Destin store on 11/5/19, as I walk in your cashier was getting up, from sitting down in the back doorway. I approached a young white girl, to inform her that I need to make an exchange. She then informs me that she does NOT know how to make an exchange she would have to call her store manager Pamela. She calls her and has a conversation, while I’m looking around. She lets me know I can wait on her manager to come back to the store in about 10-15 minutes. I declined because I had other things to accomplish that afternoon. So, I asked the young girl if Pamela will be here at work tomorrow (11/6/19) same time, she informed me that she would be available.
I'm assuming: Pamela would have been expecting me to return to the store because like any “good store manager” Pamela would have asked the young girl what happen to the exchange customer since I was not in her store when she arrived 10-15 minutes later.
I arrive at your store on 11/6/19 around the same time for a “second time”, as I approach the door again, a dark skin woman who stands up from the back, comes out to greet me and another customer. I asked her if she was Pamela (NO), I let her know that I was supposed to speak with her. I inform this woman that my fiance purchased a bottle of perfume that I do not like and I would like to exchange it. The woman lets me know that since its open she needs to call Pamela who should have been here in the first place. She comes back letting me know I cannot exchange this item that I only smelled!! Now I am very annoyed because I had to drive to your location for a second time to speak with a store manager who was not available in person.
I am VERY unsatisfied because you as a store and company are telling me that I MUST accept a gift that I have no idea what it smells like. OR you are telling me that I MUST inconvenience myself and drive back to your store to pick up a tester bottle to smell, to see if I may even like it. I could have easily glued the bottle of the wrapper back and argue the fact that it is unopen. I am not a liar and I’m very honest. I am not asking for my $100.00 (on-sale) back on a $150.00 bottle of perfume that you all are selling that I think isn’t worth it, I am only asking for an EXCHANGE!! All of this for you to tell me that I cannot exchange this item and you cannot do anything about it. Thank you, Pamela, for being such an awesome employee.
I need to speak to your District Manager as soon as possible. This is an unfair policy that you are trying to implement on your customers. If I do not speak to anyone soon, I will expect to be compensated in full for this purchase. You all are showing me very little customer service. I have managed retail stores for several years and I know the policy is NOT “customers are always right” HOWEVER “ I will help my customer to make it right”. I look forward to...
Read moreThe sales associate / cashier was quite unprofessional and rude. I stopped there to buy a refillable perfume atomizer earlier today. I already have plenty of Cologne and told him thats all I was interested in buying. He insisted that I should try a different type of cologne (like a sales man is supposed to do im definitely not knocking his hustle) I politely declined and said no that's all ill be needing today. He immediately said very loudly WOW once he discovered that I was not going to buy anything for the young lady who walked in with me. He also commented (thats crazy you won't buy anything for her among a few other things) I felt he was completely out of pocket for trying to comment on something that is entirely none of his business and I felt he was trying to belittle me in front of everyone in the store. If he would have kept his personal comments to himself and conducted his self as a professional then I would have no problem giving a higher rate. On the receipt says...
Read moreBe careful buying anything from this place. I bought a claude marsal fragrance that was absolutely fake. It has zero information on the box or the bottle. No batch code, no production code. It smelled great when I smelled it in the store, but now that I've had it for awhile, its barely half as potent as it once was. And this perfume is supposed to be 24% oil which would be strong and long lasting. It is barely a skin scent immediately after spraying 6 sprays.
Not only that, my girlfriend bought a perfume that leaked and the collar around the atomizer broke the first time it was opened. And it takes 15 sprays for her to get a few hours of weak projection.
This is so disappointing and unfortunately I didn't know how to spot fakes at the time.
The staff is friendly and helpful, but who cares about that if you're being sold fakes!!? Go to Fragrance...
