Haagen-Dazs Shops — Restaurant in Miramar Beach

Very friendly greeting upon entering the store. The girl that was so friendly fixed my wife a cone of ice cream. Another girl who initially appeared to be quiet and shy finally stepped up to take my order. I ordered a Carmel shake and I noticed she seemed nervous and went over to the counter and started searching through a book. It was obvious she probably had never made a shake nor had any formal training. The milk shake was thin as water. It is basically a cup of milk. I didn’t try it until we were pulling out of the parking lot and I saw another family filing in as we were leaving so rather than go back and wait in line to complain. My family and I frequently visit Destin as we have a vacation house out there. We went to this place to celebrate my college graduation . This was our first time coming to this specific store at this location. Truthfully, if I could give it zero stars I really would. The service was incredibly awful. The person that took our order yelled at us because we looking at the ice cream options and didn’t want to “try samples.”. We did not give her attitude and we were not rude. She was raising her voice at us and telling us to get out of the store. I have never in my life written a negative review. Very clean facility, and was immediately greeted when I walked in. Only issue I would say with my initial walk in, was the other employee standing on his phone the whole entire time,but I will say it was so spotless in there, I don’t know what else he could be doing. The condenser must be going out soon because the freezers were so full of ice all around, and the ice cream was freezer burned for most of them. This was my first time in here since I do not live in this area anymore, but I will say I was extremely shocked to pay 18.00 for two tiny scoops of ice cream that was in that quality.
