Easy Meats Butcher Shop — Attraction in Parkland

After driving by a few times I stopped in. There’s a young gentleman there excited to help immediately. The store was pretty busy and everyone was being helped. I don’t know a whole lot about meat or butchers, but I do know what I like. He provided a whole tour and offered suggestions based on my preferences. Truly a store full of passionate butchers. So accessible to grab and go or request a custom cut.

I saw one or two reviews saying prices were higher, but compared to a fresh market or Whole Foods, they really aren’t.

A place like this means that I can purchase a cut for every person instead of buying in bulk at Costco and hoping everyone likes it.

I bought a ribeye, filet and learned about a baseball cut (surprisingly inexpensive and very close to a filet).

They also sell a Brazilian buttery bread thing that’s insanely good. $60 to feed a family of 4 with prime steak. Clean plate night.

Didn’t take pictures… everything was consumed too fast.

I called ahead on a Friday morning and ordered four pounds of ribeye to be frozen and shaved to make cheesesteaks for pick up today, Super Bowl Sunday. I was told no problem, and gave my name for the order. The man on the phone told me it would be ready and waiting for me between 11-2pm on Sunday. I arrived at 12pm and after a half hour was given four raw, thick sliced ribeyes. I advised I had called ahead and requested it be frozen and shaved and the man behind the counter said “Yeah I know but we got really busy preparing for the weekend and forgot to freeze it.” At no point in the half hour I was waiting there did anyone come up to me and advise me that they had “forgotten,” nor did anyone apologize. As a restaurant manager of 15 years I was excited to finally have a butcher open near us! They took over the old Game Stop space and completely revamped the facility. My husband and I stopped in for a peek for our first visit and were very impressed. The second visit I purchased three Ribeyes with stunning marbeling, grouper and some salmon burgers. I cooked the ribeye last night and was blown away. They cooked perfectly, were so tender and melted in your mouth. I will definitely be using them regularly for our proteins from now on and I may be eyeing one or two of their knives as well.

The grouper filets melted in your mouth and my one year old ate the entirety in one sitting. The salmon burgers were phoneomenal and so juicy.
