I needed my car stero fixed in my Pilot, Honda recommended freemans, I took it there and they said I would have to pay $300 for services up front without an definite date for it being done by. Was given a 3 week estimate but the red head guy at the front said it shouldn't take any longer than 2. 3 weeks later they still didn't know when it would be fixed. Waited another week amd yhen they waiting another week and a half i called them anf they said they were waiting on me to call them to give them the cod eto the car. Im thinking why didnt you try to call me? Waiting another week and and a half before the part was finally back in the store. When I was finally able to pick it up (today) I go in and I am the only one in the office. Same red headed guy goes and gets it off the shelf and thenot says I'll get right on it. After he said that another customer walked in to which he took hi. And that was another 15 minutes. After they leave he says I'll go out to your car in a minute. Then another lady walks in and he handles her business too! Then he tales my keys and leaves the part goes outside and proceeds to take another 10-15 minutes working on someone else's car! THEN he pulls my car around comes back in takes the part then goes to work on it. Worst customer service I have ever had. Definitely would have been worth it to spend more money at honda and get a new system and actually be treated like a human being. Very versatile bad experience. Unless your willing to put up with that I would not...
Read moreThis was the absolute worse experience I’ve ever had with a car stereo company. I received a quote on Saturday to install a radio and attach a rearview camera & was told the price was $485. I booked an appointment on Monday morning, and was told the original employee who did my appointment forgot multiple pieces, so my total then went to $737 DAY OF, after I drove 3 plus hours to get there. After the work was done, I found multiple things wrong. To begin, there is a space where the radio was inserted, and looks half way put in. I was charged $130 for steering wheel control and labor, and it doesn’t work at all. Also, the speakers now in my car sound blow out & I’m at 20 volume control. If I could add video, I would.
I can't speak enough about these guys at Freemans I have been dealing with them off and on since 2004. In the last 10 years I haven't done much but with a boat replacement and my newest mod life crisis Trans Am I purchased I needed a lot of car stereo work.
I had some hiccups with the Trans Am some was fine tuning equipment with users habits and some was an error between the users brain and the volume knob getting turned to high.
Let me tell you this Freemans stood behind there products and their service. It wasn't about take my $4800 I spent on 2 systems one in the car and one in my boat. It was about quality and primarily my happiness in the end result.
Joel made me a custom box by hand to fit in my 4th gen Trans Am fitting 2 Comp R 12 inch subs and a Kenwood Excelon amp wired to every speaker in the car. They took this a step further without my knowing and fully rewired a preexisting amp setup and also the wiring for the Kenwood Excelon Touch screen radio they installed.
As for my boat they installed 4 Kicker speakers and a Kicker sub up in the cabin to bring me some bass on the lake.
If you want quality and a to be treated like family and not just like another $ walking in the door then they are the go to.
I have attached a picture of the car, the boat is in storage or I would post those...
