I needed a cake for a last minute birthday get together and I didn’t want to get a grocery store cake. I called this place at about 5:30pm on Friday and asked if they could have a cake ready to be picked up at 2:00 the next day. Jessica happily obliged. Was trying to make a friend's birthday very special by recreating a family cake recipe of hers. When I realized the cake was quite complicated to make I started calling local bakeries to see if anyone made a German Nut Torte. When I told Jessie the story she offered use the original family recipe and make the cake for us. The cake came out beautiful and was a huge hit.
