Geronimo RV Park in Miramar Beach, Florida is a pleasant surprise within walking distance from the Gulf Coast beach, less than 20 minutes from Destin, and only an hour to Panama City Beach. It is an adorable, smaller park with 29 back in and five pull thru sites...all concrete-pad full hookups with leveling boards provided, side patios, a picnic table, and side grass (excluding the pull thru sites which are all concrete.) The park is well taken care of...trees at the entrance to each back-in site are trimmed, grass is lush and mowed, and everything is maintained nicely. You can tell the owners and management care. The office has a nice little store with fun items to purchase (like beautiful jewelry...I know I like jewelry,) an adjoined laundromat with four each very efficient washers and dryers (each washer and dryer had the times listed on the top of them, which was helpful. During our stay washers were $1.50 for a 35 minute cycle and dryers were $1.25 for a 60 minute cycle,) adjoined restrooms/showers, and an outside shower to rinse off sand from the beach. There are onsite doggy waste bags and receptacles as well as a grassy area for dogs to play and run. There is also a section for guest parking. During our stay, we arrived to check in at the office and we received our park information, which they took the time to review with us. Nice feature if you have questions, as they'll be answered before you even set up. We were escorted to our back-in site and efficiently assisted with the back in process (another nice feature...sometimes we both learn from the experts. And don't we all just want to get along at the start of a camping trip?) And Tom, Nicole, and all staff are wonderful, extremely helpful, and an absolute delight to meet!

The beautiful white sand beaches and blue water make the FL Panhandle extremely popular. Consequently, there are many RV campgrounds/ resorts, and I believe I found one of the best! This is our 5th stay at Geronimo RV Park Miramar Beach, FL. Its close proximity to Destin FL only adds to this parks attractiveness. The campground is managed by a very professional and friendly staff. This team works hard to keep the park extremely clean and all landscaping well maintained. Each site is easily accessible with a level concrete pad, a newer composite picnic table, and the majority of sites have shade provided by beautiful Live Oak trees. Best of all, the sites are spread out with more than adequate spacing between each one!!! Plus, a park staff member guides you to your site and assists you with parking your RV!! Water, sewer, 50 amp electrical service, and cable all work flawlessly. Internet service is available with decent speed for web browsing. Like most RV parks/ resorts, the internet speed is marginal for streaming and video conferencing. The bathhouse and laundry area are clean and very well maintained. The walk to the beach is about 10 min or you can take the golf cart shuttle provided free of charge by the park. If you are planning a visit to the Florida panhandle and its gorgeous beaches then I highly recommend Geronimo RV Park! We camped here in our 40ft Motorhome.

Pros; 1) One of our favorite parks of the MANY we’ve been to as full-timers 2) the small size gave it a small town vibe & everyone was super friendly. 3) laundry room and bath houses were very clean and well appointed. 4) GREAT bike location. I clocked 18 miles one day. You can go in any direction. 5) Short walk to the beach which had restaurants and walking trails right on the beach. 6) Staff is friendly and help you park. 7) Nice sized concrete level sites under trees with grass (I recommend a back site farther from office as the back is open to a large sand lot that’s kinda pretty). 8) there is a huge grass field that you can take your dogs to and let them off leash. My dog LOVES to chase balls so that was GREAT exercise for him. Cons; 1) The road coming in off the main drag is narrow and drives you past lots of storage facilities and makes you worry about where you’re headed to albeit, a very short road. 2) The office appeared junky- not a good first impression. Although staff was very kind and friendly even assisting you to back into site. 3) Squirrels tormented my dog. 😂

Rude place! trying to understand how I was charged when I called to cancel same day when the office was closed, with plenty of open spots a month away. This is NOT a resort, a gloried parking lot, nothing for the children, or even a pool. If worth walking blocks away instead of having to drive around a few minutes, nicer place & people, down to earth place, keep looking, not here!

I really couldn’t figure out why so many 5 stars, after the fact it did not take long to figure out this how they were getting away with the scam of calling it a resort, it’s close to a beach. The beach crowd who does not want to drive and rather walk several blocks in the hot sun, this is it for you. I don’t see a hot walk or a storm comes threw, sun beating in my head, I’d it really worth resort prices that does not exists. I don’t have children, feel bad there isn’t even swings here. When dealing with this place, I don’t think my husband looked at the crazy 50 canceling fee even though months ahead. If having a law in Florida no dog can go in the beach water, why not a law for places like this which charges crazy resort fees, uses the word resort when this place is just a Walmart parking lot with hook ups! Please do research, a place real close for under half of this place, does not say resort, has picnic tables on concrete slab with a umbrella. Nice restaurants around, Walmart, Sams Club, and the beach 2 miles away!! We are going to be able to stay over a week from ditching this parking lot.. a yippee for me! Destin 20 min drive, so many choices! At least the other RV camp ground is honest, kind, and helpful on the phone If you want those here working rude for big bucks of nothing, but believe the beach being just a tad bit closer, this is for those. I should have know to skip when there was to many...

Will definitely stay here again! Awesome Location, near the beach!

Nicole and Tom provide awesome hospitality, it feels like home – we came for 2 weeks, stayed for 2 months & will come back. Everyone who arrives is provided help navigating to and getting in their site – nice touch!

We L-O-V-E this park, Lots of Restaurants and things to do close by. It’s quiet never any issue with noise even during summer high season. Close to a great section of Miramar Beach, many take the easy walk, we drive and 95%+ of the time find a spot to park right away. Never had to wait for laundry, waited for restroom once in 2 months. Both are clean, well-appointed and well kept. Landscape is meticulously maintained and groomed weekly.

Resort Park is clean and well laid out. RV pads are level and spacious (more spacious than the neighboring RV park), each has a tree for some shade. FULL Hookups! Each power station has; 50 Amp, 30 Amp and 110 outlets, 2 water hookups along with cable. • Bags of ice are available for sale if needed • Dumpster on site & out of the way • Great big field for dog walking and doggie bag stations in several areas for handy cleanup and disposal. • Laundry has 4 washers, 4 dryers (fair price) and a table to fold clothes – also a book exchange. • Bathrooms are cleaned regularly and are very nice.

Lots of repeat customers came through while we were here. All said they come back because it’s the best (in their opinion) in the area. Note: Wind/rain can pop up here in FL, it’s a really good idea to pull in the awning when you head out to the beach – saw a few permanently lost during pop up weather systems while...
