Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent in for the first time today and wow! What a great store. So much stuff, well marked, organized, and clean. They also had some beautiful decor, way nicer than your average thrift store. All of the staff I interacted with were awesome and it was fun to shop. I came in looking for a few affordable household items, but will def be back to shop some of the decor!
With that said, this truly isnāt a thrift store. The items are donated but the prices more closely resemble an expensive consignment shop. There are supposedly people that research appropriate pricing in the back? But I found two items I grabbed only because I thought they would be cheaper, one was a Walmart brand and the other was an (old) old navy skirt, they were nearly $10 a piece. It would have been cheaper to buy them new and on sale from the original retailer. Most items I looked at were like this. Even used pillows were $8-15? When you can get similar ones at target for $10 brand new.
I went in looking for a side table and there were 6 options, but the cheapest I could find was $160. Like a single small sofa side table to put a lamp on. $160 is WAY more than Iād ever pay for a brand new one⦠They had some beautiful couches that were also very expensive! But it was really cool looking around, just set your expectations...

Here's our experience: A) The prices are INSANE. Like never in my life have I been so outright shocked. A dirty pair of beat up no brand name sandals - $10 kinda high. There was no way to see what had been there for 30 days and no one around to ask about negotiating prices.
B) Speaking of no one being around, there was plenty of women who worked there that disappeared as quickly as you spotted them, dodging customers and swerving anyone who may want to ask a question. Literally the only person who spoke to us overheard my husband say the prices were too high and quickly and loudly retorted "Y'all have a blessed day" in the snottiest tone she could muster up on short notice. someone had to be high when they
C) We very closely follow a thrift store back home that runs a very similar program. They charge reasonable prices and still fulfill their mission. They promote their Christian basis by being friendly, Godly people who make you feel welcomed and worthy. I didn't feel Path of Grace did any...
