During our recent visit to Tucson, we decided to pamper ourselves with a couples pedicure at GreenToes Nail Salon, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.
The moment we walked in, we were struck by the airy and clean aesthetics of the spa. The ambiance felt both relaxing and glamorous, setting the perfect mood for our pampering session. The host Audrey at the front desk was incredibly welcoming, taking the time to go over our chosen services to ensure everything was in order. I particularly loved the unique touch of being presented with a bowl of flat marbles, each painted with the gel nail polish colors on the bottom. It was not only a creative way to showcase the color swatches but also quite satisfying to run my hands through the cool marbles.
The soothing background music added to the overall tranquil atmosphere without being overpowering. We were offered a delightful selection of beverages, and I opted for the Cozy Chamomile tea, which was a wonderful choice.
The seating was another highlight — custom sofas with plush throw pillows provided excellent support and comfort, allowing us to sit next to each other and enjoy the experience together. This was my partner's first pedicure, and Becky made him feel comfortable, I was thrilled to share this pampering experience with him.
We both chose the Essential Pedicure featuring a geranium cedar wood salt soak in a tonic bath. Annika provided my treatment which included thorough cuticle care, nail shaping, a divine sugar scrub, an all-natural callus remover, and an organic heel balm. The highlight, however, was the incredible long leg and foot massage, which left us both feeling utterly relaxed and rejuvenated.
The staff at GreenToes Spa were knowledgeable and attentive, clearly dedicated to ensuring that we had the best possible experience. Overall, GreenToes Nail Salon exceeded our expectations and provided a fabulous escape filled with relaxation and indulgence. We can’t wait for...
Read moreFirst experience had a lovely experience getting a facial by Veronica. I was very relaxed and greeted upon arrival. They are wanting to make you feel safe and taken care of. Every employee was was very nice. Veronica was informative about different items that they offered during the appointment and what they do. I had a second appointment and did a massage and facial. I called to schedule and told them i would like the massage and facial deal but do prenatal since i was 19 weeks and she said i would be able to do a Prenatal massage with that since my first appointment I could not do it since i was too early in my pregnancy. I was so excited for this appointment since it was my first massage since covid started. I requested Veronica again. I showed up and went back for my massage where i was asked to lay on my stomach. Ten minutes into the massage I was uncomfortable since I was 19 weeks pregnant and on my stomach. I then asked the therapist if it was a prenatal massage. She said there was nothing in my notes and I was pretty upset that no one made sure to put that in them since that is what I requested and thought I had booked. Veronica was able to make sure i was comfortable but I felt bad having to stop the massage in the beginning and shouldnt have had to if it was booked correctly. I had a beautiful rest of the treatment with my massage and facial and Veronica helped me feel completely relaxed after the mishap. When i was leaving i did mention to the front desk how my massage was booked wrong and it didnt seem to be as serious to them. I dont think the front desk handled this well because pregnancy is a big thing to make sure to put in the notes when booking. I will come back because I feel amazing after working with Veronica but i hope that management could reach out about...
Read moreThe place is beautiful and clean and the nail techs are great! but management is lacking. I had gel manicures here 3-4 times. The first few were good and lasted about 2, 1/2 weeks. My last one started chipping, etc. after about 9 days or so. I was paying for the most basic gel manicure for $51.00, add on tip of $12.00 and that's $63.00 and I feel that for that money, the gel manicure should last at LEAST 2 weeks, but honestly closer to 3. I left a message for the manager about my manicure chipping/peeling so quickly and the manager's response - "I'll check with your nail tech to see if they have any ideas to make your manicure last longer". Huh? Of course I never heard from her again. She didn't offer to have me come back in to fix it, which in this case would have been appropriate. I have gone to the places where a gel costs $35.00 and even they will immediately offer to have you come back in to fix it, and the gel manicures last for 3 weeks. They say that they are using a superior gel polish/process, but since removing their polish, my nails have been in terrible shape - cracking, peeling, etc. - and I only had 3 or 4 gel manicures, so it wasn't long term damage (hadn't had one for over 6 months before that). I feel that if you are going to charge more than $50.00 for a basic gel manicure, that they should last, but mostly, that if there is a problem out of the norm, that management offers to stand behind their product/salon/nail tech. Clearly, they don't value me as a customer - probably because they're busy enough that they don't need my business. So noted. So...
