I came in for a custom pendant quote with little prior research and was quickly met by Pedro who did great explaining everything from the process to giving me a quote. Pedro is very professional, welcoming and easy to speak with. The pendant took about a week or so to be complete which was nice. The final product and experience was amazing. One thing that did confuse me was the pricing. I was charged for a higher weight when the final weight was lower. Additionally, After doing some research I found I was charged 14k gold near 24k pricing. A different employee there even said he charges $160 per 14k gram on their chains which seemed overpriced once I did the math. The kitco price of the day was ~108 per gram for 24k gold. Even vendors like APMEX and JM bullion sell individual grams of .999 24k gold bullion/rounds for cheaper than what the employee claimed to sell 14k gold for even with “premiums” on top. There may have been a miscommunication on both ends but that’s my point of view on pricing.

Oct 2022: A+ repair! I took my soon to be wife's antique wedding ring here to replace a lost stone. This silver ring was over 200 years old, and was missing one of the five foil backed garnets. The ring had no material value, but it's age and the fact that this is what I proposed to her with made it very special to us. I made it clear that I didn't want the ring cleaned up or made to look new, and that I simply wanted a replacement foil backed garnet. John Fish Jewelers assured me that they could handle the job, and roughly 10 days later called to say the stone was replaced and it was ready for pickup. The work required a lapidary to custom cut a garnet from a similar color sample, apply the foil backing, and then re-set the new stone in the ring. As promised, the ring looks amazing, and we can't even tell which of the 5 garnets was the replacement. We're so happy with the repair! We even bought a fun and unique piece of estate jewelry from their display case while we were there. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I ordered my dream wedding band and engagement ring online. When they arrived I was over the moon with joy. There was only one problem. They were both the tiniest bit too big, and the stone in my ring was flopping back-and-forth.

After reading reviews, I chose John Fish Jewelers to do the size adjustment. The business itself is centrally located in the Historic Commercial Center, which I love to visit because it is such a fun slice of living Vegas history. The building and signage are so cute and vintage looking. They've been in business for three generations, so clearly they're doing something right.

My sizing options were thoroughly explained to me by the courteous and knowledgeable salesperson. I left my rings with them for two days, then came to pick them up, at which point I had a delightful chat with the owner. The price was right and the work impeccable. The next project they are taking care of for me is repairing and replacing a stone in my grandmother's ring.
