I recently visited magic mountain and while I enjoyed some aspects, I have serious concerns about the condition of the water slides. On one particular slide, I experienced a sharp edge that unfortunately cut my leg. This is unacceptable and indicates a significant lapse in safety and maintenance.
Water parks should be a fun and safe environment for everyone. It's crucial that magic mountain conduct regular inspections and maintenance on all slides to ensure there are no sharp edges, cracks, or other hazards that could cause injury. The park needs to prioritize the safety of its visitors by addressing these issues promptly.
I hope that magic mountain takes this feedback seriously and implements the necessary repairs and safety checks to prevent future incidents. Until these improvements are made, I cannot recommend the water slides...
Read moreFamily Friendy, great for all ages! Our teens/adults loved sliding as much as our kids! There is a waterslide for everyone! Even the Grandparents enjoyed sitting in Toddler Area and watching the grandkids slide!
☆Toddler/PreK waterslide features a kiddie pool. ☆You do have to climb a significant amount of stairs to get to slides ☆We purchased the 1.5hr tickets ($20 each) and it was plenty of time ☆ BE prepared, if you have some in your group that arent doing the slides there is not a lot of shade coverage. Our group liked the seating in Toddler Area best, since we had all ages sliding.
I'd recommend coming before lunch. We left around 1pm, and it was getting crowded!
A place of Nostalgia! We grew up going to Holden and it was fun to share these memories...

About halfway through our 90 minutes, I witnessed a little boy defecating in the small pool. His parents were nowhere to be found. I quickly reported this incident to the lifeguards and they just laughed about it. They did end up cleaning it up, however, they did not comply with North Carolina health and safety laws. The water needs to be treated and they did not do anything about this issue. How if my granddaughter contracted a chlorine resistant, fecal-borne parasite from that little boy’s defecation? This place does not follow North Carolina health and safety laws! I will...
