We used to shop here a lot but after multiple times of feeling ignored and demeaned by one of the sales people, I will no longer be giving them my business. They set aside items for friends of the owners instead of using an equitable manner to distribute hard to get items. Anytime I would bring up things I was looking for, the salesperson would change the subject. On more than one occasion, they called my husband to let him know about something I purchased or left for service instead of calling me. It makes me feel like I am less important because I am a woman even though I was the one to make the transaction and they had my contact info but still reached out to my husband instead. When we go in the store together, the conversation is primarily with my husband as well and if I speak up, what I say is ignored or attention is shifted back to my husband. It is rude and I am tired of it.
So just to reply to David’s reply: It’s not a problem with a default phone number in your POS. The problem is that obviously you don’t even have my last name correctly in your system. The appraisal you sent me in the mail for a piece of jewelry that I purchased has my first name and my husband’s last name on it. So great job not paying attention there because we don’t have the same last name and I purchased the jewelry with my own credit card that has MY name on it. Additionally, when we directly asked why someone else in the store was walking out with a watch myself or my husband had been requesting for months and months, we were TOLD that the people purchasing it were friends of the owners and there was nothing they could do. If you really wanted to make it fair, you’d put watches in the case when they came in instead of holding them in the back and whoever walks in and sees them can buy them. That’s how retail should work.
