We ventured to Miramar Beach for the first time and stayed at the Ratiu Beach House. From the moment we arrived, we were encased in an atmosphere of serenity and luxury that exceeded all our expectations. The Ratiu Beach House is located in a beautiful, tranquil community, right in front of the private beach. The community features sidewalks, which made it ideal to walk to the beach, go for a morning run, or an evening walk, and it includes a private pool.

The house is inviting, newly renovated, exceptionally clean, and modern – with its spacious design that provides the utmost comfort. The living spaces are bright, spacious, and cozy; the kitchen is fully equipped, and the backyard space offers a private patio – along with an outdoor shower, which made it easy to rise off after a day at the beach. The beautifully landscaped front and back yards enhances the house’s charm and contributes to its peaceful ambiance. The Ratiu Beach House is utterly remarkable, evoking a sense of a private haven.

We took a family vacation to Destin and decided to book the Ratiu Beach House, and let me just say, it exceeded all expectations. The house was beautiful, meticulously clean, and walking distance to the beach. There were 8 of us, and the house had plenty of rooms and bathrooms to accommodate us all very comfortably. The house is stocked well with anything you’d need while away from home. The backyard is so relaxing and gorgeous with all the plants and lounge chairs. We especially loved the outdoor shower to rinse off the sand after the beach in the privacy of the backyard. The neighborhood is beautiful and so full of amenities! You have an awesome pool as well as tennis courts, and the community is directly across the street from their very own private beach access. The beach is much less crowded because of this and no matter what time we got to the beach we found plenty of space to set our things down and be close to the water. We had a wonderful 9-day stay at this beautiful Avalon Beach Estates cottage in Destin, Florida, with our family. We try to visit Destin every year, and this time was perfect for swimming. The house was spacious and airy, making our stay extremely comfortable. The host has thought of everything to make it feel like home, and the house was immaculate with everything ready for us.

We particularly appreciated the no-shoes policy inside, which added to the cleanliness and homely feel. The host was always quick to respond and resolved any minor issues, like the BBQ, promptly. This was by far the cleanest Airbnb we've ever stayed in.

The location was fantastic, with the beach just a short walk away. The host kindly reminded us of the trash collection days, and the neighbors were respectful and friendly. One time, we needed vinegar and a neighbor kindly helped us out.

The house’s design was beautiful, and having two refrigerators was a huge advantage for a large family. The garage was also very nicely done. We felt truly at home and are already looking forward to staying here...
