On August 20, 2025, after the arrival of AeroMéxico flight AM664 from Mexico City to San Francisco International Airport, my mother (a wheelchair passenger) and I experienced an extremely upsetting incident with a wheelchair attendant at SFO.
Around 9:10–9:15 PM in Terminal A, the employee assisting my mother (an Asian male staff member) made a shocking and disrespectful comment: “Yeah, stop wasting my time.” He knew my mother would not understand because she doesn’t speak English. Unfortunately for him, I was right there and heard everything.
When I confronted him, instead of apologizing for the rude and unprofessional remark, he dismissed me and told me not to be rude mocking me.The lack of accountability and basic courtesy was appalling.
My mother, who relies on wheelchair services after long flights, was left feeling disrespected and humiliated. This was not only unprofessional but also felt discriminatory toward a passenger with limited English.
AeroMéxico and SFO need to ensure that contracted wheelchair staff treat all passengers with dignity and respect. No traveler especially those requiring special assistance should ever have to endure this kind...

Funny thing is there were many cars standing at the curb blocking other people, but she could care less about them. I pulled over to the 2nd lane and my friend was already making his way over with 2 large suitcases. With all the people standing, it took him all the 20s to move over and she yelled at me saying I was blocking everyone who needed to go home. This situation is just ridiculous. The pick up area is just out of control. People directing traffic are also out of control.. Avoid this...

Super long border control queues.
Power sockets do not work. Don’t expect to find anywhere to charge your phone.
Security checks are worthless. They don’t have sufficient scanners, loading areas or staffing. Their trays are tiny, and yet they ask us to remove our jackets, shoes, laptops, liquids and etc. The trays should be big. The “priority queue” is slower than the regular queue. See how AMS, LGW, LHR or literally any other airport does things.
Advice to travellers:
Bring an external battery pack to charge your phone. Make sure that laptops are fully charged before traveling.
Avoiding flying with checked luggage to avoid...
