If I could give this place negative stars I would, customer service an management are very rude an unprofessional, out of the many properties I own this is the only one I have issues with, since moving into this property I’ve been targeted more than twice by he say she say accusations, rent goes up an the security is rarely at the front I’ve had to call the police multiple times, one of which is because an old man whose best friend used to live here an he wanted the place I have now so he makes false claims an with out proof the office sends out notice/threats that my baby moms an kids will be kicked out, I have a police report from him coming on my property an disrespecting my wife, which is funny because a lot of residents that lived here longer than me are breaking the rules with no consequence so I’m left to gather my police reports and evidence/surveillance an take them to court, also it’s funny that when you ask someone in the front for a manager, whoever working at the time is always the manager odd much!? I’ve abided by the rules a regulations a now since being targeted I’m forced to target anything an everyone. Also I see people working on cars boats an rv’s, but I’m being told I can’t change a tire or add or play music in my car which isn’t loud according to Osceola sound rules/sheerwood regulations an never been or made noise outside past 8pm, but I own this home an I’m not allowed to play music at a minimal an cook outside, but there be Spanish music loud late hours an loud cars passing by neighbors with rotwilers an Pitbulls an family’s who’s not suppose to stay there but I’m getting blamed/harrased, also the funny thing is they blamed us for having extra guest until they found out it was next door who had unwanted guest then they wanted to play nice oh they made a mistake it was next door, should have found that out before you sent the notice an being rude telling me I’m a liar an you don’t know anything, Tom the old guy has crack heads coming an going but sheerwood aint doing anything about that, the guy vandalizes properties police are called an he’s right back here with no issues from the community, all age community rent gets higher an nothing changes for the good of the residents, also I’m told that guest can’t have a background, do I background check everyone even family an ask them personally you been in trouble before you can’t visit here, also I only visit my kids an take care of the house, but because i visit a lot I must get registered here, even though I’m a visitor, it’s weird how the rules in the book is altered by who’s in the office, crazy how false accusations with no proof calls for notices an threats. Also I’m remodeling my home myself it usually takes me a day to clean out what I demolished an get the new materials in but I’m always getting a complaint an the old guy comes here almost everyday trying to start with something taking pictures of my parents in laws an cousins, neighbors have a Pitbull an small dog an be blasting music when they want an doing w.e drugs they do with random people staying coming an leaving at all hours, but hey they must be trying to blame someone to keep the heat off them to bad my house is under surveillance 24/7 an I will dispute anything an...
Read moreI would like to start off by saying I’ve stayed at better camp sites, in a tent!!
Grass is way overgrown here, abandoned motor homes looking trashy. Not the ideal view. However you are close to popular activities.
You get a nice little guide map of the area.
Shower houses were disgusting.. I’ll let my pictures show you. You also need key card to get into them.
Had a big issue with the pool. In the Langley at front desk it says pools hours are 7am-10pm. Pool rules board says Dawn to Dusk. And they have a makeshift sign up that says 9am-8:30pm. It’s literally duck taped on. Very confusing. And then we get kicked out of the pool at 9pm??! Faulty advertising.
We tried using the Billards and ping pong inside. But you have to walk to front desk to get the equipment. Leaving your license. When you bring stuff back you pick your license up. But the front office closes at 5. Schedules need help here.
This is a very transient area and I do not feel safe walking around alone in this community.
However we were not disturbed by anybody, loud noises however,.. every few minutes tour helicopters are flying over. And hourly police sirens going by. Disturb your day trying to enjoy the outside and wake you from your sleep.
You have to pay for wifi here. We didn’t and it screwed up our phones for a couple days. Very bad reception
I would not suggest this site to anyone. And if you DARE to camp...
Read moreWe stayed there in the beginning of July. We arrived after hours but the staff did leave our paperwork in the mail box for us. The campsite was grass and hadn't been mowed in weeks. The grass had to be a foot tall. Most of the campground was empty, which should have been a warning bell for us. There were plenty of camper spots with a concrete pad open but not ours.
The back page of the map filled with rules. Things like "no hanging towels or clothes out to dry, we have a 24 hour laundry". The don't tell you when you get there that the laundry takes a MacGray card, which you can't get after hours. The security guard was there the night we arrived but for the next 3 days anytime we came through after 5 the guard shack had an "out to lunch" sign hanging on it.
The 2nd day we were there maintenance finally mowed the lawn. Of course they didn't move our table or chairs but just mowed around our spot getting everything covered in cut grass. The couple times I went to the office the staff was friendly enough but I didn't feel very welcome. We ended up checking out a day early. Althout it was primarily a place to sleep while doing Universal Studios, we just didn't like the place so we...
