This place was chaotic. I went here when it was not owned by SkyZone and ot was called Mojo Dojo, it was a lot nicer then and it was well run with more rules and employees that actually were attentive to the safety of the guests. During my visit it was dirty throughout the facility. More than half of the lockers didn’t work so that took about 10-15 minutes to figure out..even the staff had a hard time getting lockers to work. Multiple guests were struggling with it. The staff who are on the floor were not paying attention to any of the guest or keeping them safe, the employees working the floor seemed to be teenagers themselves and I don’t feel they had or have any adequate training for keeping guests safe. Kids were running around and jumping where they shouldn’t which could cause problems. Mats for the slides were laying on the floor not picked up or cleaned and could be a tripping/slipping hazard. I was also injured during my visit on the trampoline with the wall jump. There were no employee watching this area and this negligence caused me to sustain a compression fracture to my spine, there were no instructions, no how-it’s”, it’s not safe. As I was laying there on the trampoline for about 3-5 minutes in excruciating pain and not being able to talk at all, there was no employee around to check to make sure I was okay, which I wasn’t, I couldn’t talk and sustained a spinal fracture. When an employee finally casually came over to see if I was “okay” I was offered some ice and that was all and he said these are dangerous trampolines cause they have more bounce than the normal trampolines. This was the absolute worst experience ever and the employees need more training and maybe in all honesty to be older than teenagers. I will never go here again, I will never recommend this place to anyone, and I surely won’t allow my kids or anyone’s kids that I...
Read moreSince I got a text to leave a review. I will take the opportunity. A few months ago, I went to Defy. I told my eight year old son that he can go ahead and head in the trampoline area so that I and my Autistic non verbal 3 year old could use the bathroom. When I came out I went up the ramp with my 3 year old to meet my eight year old. I was apprehended and told to stop and wait to be let in due to their brand new 15 minute rule of letting groups in due to Covid. I totally understand why they felt justified but what I couldn't get with is the fact I let them know that my son was autistic and needed to join my 8 year old child who was already inside by himself or he would have a meltdown and we would have to immediately leave. There was no concern for my son's disability and I was pretty much told oh well and no. I don't know about other people but as a parent I would like to join my minor inside and if I was aware of their new ridiculous policy I would never let him go ahead of me. I told them that I felt like the were not making reasonable accommodations for my autistic son. They did not care. I told them that I would complain to ada. They did not care. At that point I was upset and angry. Finally after they made me (the only person in line) wait the whole 15 minutes while my 8 year old was unsupervised. I went in and headed to the dodge ball area. I watched a teenager pick up a ball and throw as hard as he could at a 6 year Olds face. The parent was visibly upset. The staff would do nothing due to the fact that "nobody who works here saw it" even though their where multiple witnesses. Messy place, horrible discriminated staff I will never return. Don't go if you have a child with disabilities....
Read moreWhat happened to this place? Seriously... save your money and go somewhere else with your kids.. Here's some reason this USED to be a good place: The place was clean Workers helped the kids stay safe There was a capacity limit Used to be cheaper Here's the reasons this place SUCKS now: The place was SO DANG DIRTY! I stepped in gum, and there are used socks EVERYWHERE! Where are the workers? Seriously, what happened to this place? The workers used to stay next to the trampolines and blow their whistles at kids who were breaking the rules. Now, the kids make the rules; kids fall over other kids and smash their heads together, kids running around and pushing, kids jumping where they shouldn't. There are no rules in this place anymore and it is all up to the small children. No CAPACITY LIMIT! There are HUNDREDS of kids just jumping around shoulder to shoulder. This is something you'd see from a movie, where the main character gets tunnel vision from the stress. Your workers (which are only in one small area of the park) are literally hiding from the kids. I seen workers behind walls, standing in the shadows, and smelling of weed (do that at your own house). It was like the bad kid getting yelled at by a teacher and sent to the corner of the room.
For goodness sakes... clean your damn mess and fix your place. I beg you, the person reading this, to please not step another foot into this place unless they clean up their act. I would give a 0 star if I could. And to the people who think this place is still okie dokie artachokie, you are part of the problem. Fix your kid's behavior and maybe, just maybe, this place could shine...
