The moment we checked in we had problems with this hotel. The listed accomodations on our receipt for our stay are not accommodations they provide. The main reasons we chose this hotel was the hot tub, spa, roll away beds, pet friendly, restaurant, and pool. As soon as we checked in we found they did not have any of the following. The breakfast included consists of frozen waffles, mini muffins, and toast which I do not consider to be a balanced breakfast. We stayed for a week in a non smoking hotel for work related reasons. Every night there was cigarette smoke in our room in a non smoking hotel. We told the staff our concerns, we had a 3 year old, and the room was not as stated "non smoking". The manager denied any claims of people smoking in the rooms when it was very noticeable down the hall to our room on the second floor. We asked for another room but denied though the last 6 nights only a few people checked into the hotel. I was told to put a towel under the door to keep the smoke out. The blankets had white stains and dirt in the bed like it was previously used. I would rate the environment as unsafe, dirty, and unprofessional. The last 3 nights were the worst. The staff didn't care what kind of people they checked into the hotel or respectful enough to spread people apart in rooms. The first night we had an unstable couple fighting until 3am hitting each other, slamming doors, yelling. The guy at the counter didn't seem to care that no one could sleep. I had to ask several times for security for it to stop. They were finally kicked out at 3am and we had no sleep for training. The second night the police came we didn't get to bed until 1am. The last night a group of people were next to us. They would slam the door into the wall every 5min to go smoke. One guy would leave the room get into his car turn up his speakers as loud as he could then back to the room every few hours. The people next to them had an infant that wolk up several times due to the noise and would cry for hours. We got no sleep for the 3rd night in a row and drove 3 hours back home after a long week of training with no free late check-out. I would like to warn people about this hotel because people deserve more respect then what we had to endure when we paid well into $300 to stay at this hotel including an additional fee when we got there that we were not informed of. I was never refunded for anything the only compensation was $50 from Priceline. I've previously stayed at a super 8 and have no complaints however we will no longer book a room with any super 8 after our experience. I would highly recommend staying in any other hotel then the super 8...
Read moreI don't think it's possible to give no stars on a review so I'll stick to one star. We were a party of 5, 2 couples and 1 child. We were visiting for the weekend so we got 2 rooms for Friday and Saturday. We got there Friday a little before midnight. Of course like it all trips we have to forget something right. When we got there we realized that my friend didn't have her wallet with her. Hotel policies stated that all adults in the party had to have an ID. We understood the rules but we asked the person who was there if there was anything we could do, perhaps have someone at home send her a picture of her ID and the front desk staff answered in the most rude way possible. With an attitude, he said it's not my fault you are not responsible enough to be carrying your own ID, as an adult you should know it is important to carry and what do you want me to do, just break the rules? I told him that a simple no sorry there is nothing I can do would have been enough. Of course that's not the only reason why I'm giving 1 star. The hotel had a funny smell, when we walked to the front desk the person who greeted us (whom later I found out was the night manager) looked so unprofessional. He had long hair ( I have no problem with that) but it looked messy, his nails were long and dirty. In most hotels you have to dress to impress when you are taking care of the front desk. He honestly looked like he just got out of bed and went to work. On the other side the security guard OMG one of the most disgusting people I've ever seen. He was burping and spitting right in front of us. Come on, I think you guys can definitely do better than this. We ended up not staying there and I'm glad we didn't because as soon as I found another hotel I started reading the reviews for this one and oh gosh. Definitely won't be...
Read moreJUST DONT DO IT.. save yourself the hassle. I called and reserved my room ahead of time via phone with the Wyndham customer service as I couldn’t get through calling the office directly.. I was helped by an amazing woman. I needed to make sure I could pay with cash as it was getting late and I have young TIRED children and desperately needed out of the car. She was a great help, reassured me I could pay cash for my room and that they’d hold my card number just in case ( NO PROBLEM)
Now I get here and. Front desk EXTREMELY RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE. I asked about the $200 deposit and she told me if I don’t like her policies she can just cancel my reservation.. when I didn’t even have a problem with it. JUST ASKED.. when asking for my payment she RUDELY informed me they don’t accept cash and whoever I spoke to wasn’t her so I couldnt have gotten the right information.. no problem YET AGAIN.. I just need a room.. the hallways and stairs SMELL STRONGLY of urine. My room smells like cigarettes and there are burns in the window seals.. you cannot access the more anywhere besides the main entrance as they won’t allow you to use any other door in the building. My shower doesn’t work front desk doesn’t care. This is THE WORST stay in a motel I’ve ever had. The price isn’t worth it. It’s in the worst part of town, THE WORST PART, tons of homeless camping around and transients just walking around the parking lot. POLICE PATROL THIS MOTEL.. it is disgusting place. DO NOT RECOMMEND.. the 5 star reviews HAVE to be people who work here. After being on the road for 13 hours I just wanted a place for my kids...
