I recently had the pleasure of dining at Brookfields Restaurant in Sacramento, and I am thrilled to share my amazing experience. Located conveniently on Madison close to the I80 exit, this restaurant offers not only delicious food but also a cozy atmosphere and excellent service. One of the standout aspects of Brookfields Restaurant is the abundance of parking spots available. It made my visit stress-free and allowed me to focus on enjoying my meal. The cozy atmosphere added to the overall dining experience, creating a welcoming and comfortable ambiance. The staff at Brookfields Restaurant were incredibly friendly and helpful. From the moment I walked in, I felt warmly greeted and well taken care of. Their attentiveness and willingness to assist with any questions or requests made the dining experience even more enjoyable. I ordered the veggie omelet, and it exceeded my expectations. The eggs were flawlessly cooked, fluffy, and fresh. The combination of vegetables created a burst of flavors with each bite. Additionally, the country potatoes served alongside the omelet were absolutely delicious. Every ingredient tasted fresh, and the quality was evident. One delightful surprise was the pastry that accompanied my meal. It was a delightful addition to the overall experience, adding a touch of sweetness. The attention to detail and the variety of options provided by Brookfields Restaurant truly elevate the dining experience. I appreciated the small touches like the lemon slices in the water. It added a refreshing twist and enhanced the overall flavor profile. These small gestures demonstrate the care and thoughtfulness that the restaurant puts into ensuring a memorable dining experience. Supporting local businesses like Brookfields Restaurant is crucial for the thriving of our community. By dining here, I felt like I was contributing to the local economy and supporting the hard work and dedication of the staff and owners. The reasonable prices make it even more accessible for everyone to enjoy a delicious meal while positively impacting the local community. In conclusion, Brookfields Restaurant in Sacramento is a hidden gem that offers a fantastic dining experience. The convenient location, ample parking, cozy atmosphere, and friendly staff create a welcoming environment for all guests. The veggie omelet, country potatoes, and fresh ingredients exemplify the commitment to quality and taste. The small touches, such as the pastry and lemon slices in the water, show the attention to detail that sets this restaurant apart. I highly recommend Brookfields Restaurant for anyone seeking a delicious and reasonably priced meal that supports the local community.

For breakfast, this place is a gem. I was surprised I'd never heard of it. Dinner, not so much. The evening kitchen staff serve food that's often returned to the kitchen for replacement, the restaurant is short staffed in the evening, and the extra load on the servers really downgrades the service. I like liver and onions. I had this dish in Brookfields Roseville, and it was excellent. The first time I ordered liver bacon and onions at this restaurant some weeks ago (medium rare) it came cooked to death, but I ate it anyway. Tonight when I got a repeat performance, I returned it. The replacement was better, but totally unseasoned. The server didn't replace the cutlery that had gone back with the first plate, so when the replacement arrived, it took about 5 minutes to get cutlery. When I asked for steak sauce to give it some flavor, that took another 5 minutes. The replacement plate came with one rasher of bacon, not two. Overall, it took me over an hour and a half to get dinner and eat it. My suggestion? Go to Roseville. They have professional evening kitchen staff, and better management. The owners don't spend any time in the restaurant but they write gushing responses to the reviews. So how's their evening business? I took a photo of the restaurant at 6:30 pm and it's pretty sparse.

Took my 3 kids here (ages 17, 14, 9) and all four of us left satiated. Promptly sat at 10am (I called ahead and Sundays get busy after 11am from the church crowds) and everything was delicious! Kids ordered eggs benny, corned beef hash with a biscuit and the kids menu pancakes. Mama ordered coffee, fresh squeezed OJ and a cinnamon roll. I paid less than $70 with tip - a minor feat these days! I would absolutely return, something I don't say often because I always love to try something new. Brookfields is locally-owned with fresh, HOMEMADE food and a casual but not trashy and therefore somehow classy atmosphere. Menu has something for everyone, including the foodies and the frugal, picky eaters. Pretty sure my inlaws would 1) enjoy the food 2) not complain [too much] about the price - LOL!

EDIT: Brookfields response to my lenghty review is a perfect example of how oblivious their team is to their customers' needs. OP: We decided to eat here for the 1st time recently. The food was tasty and hearty. The staff was friendly and welcoming. This quickly became our new favorite restaurant. We returned for a 2nd visit, once again the food was a hit, and the staff was friendly. Our extreme disappointment came when we left. A glass of water spilled, and although a server was quick to wipe up the table, she failed to no the floor. When we left, my 82 year old mother slipped on that water, landing on the floor. A server did offer to assist, but my Mom was stuck on the floor. She landed hard on the floor. My disappointment was also that the manager was too busy asking another server what happened. I could hear the server telling him it was a slip and fall because of the water that spilled earlier. The manager didn't speak to my Mom or even ask if she needed an ambulance or assistance to our car. Because of this, we will not be returning. A manager who is more worried about a lawsuit than the well-being of an elderly customer is not a good manager at all. If he was a good manager, this wouldn't have happened in the first place because he would have been sure to have the floor...
