Springfield Commons — Attraction in Springfield

This is a vibrant and happening shopping center. It is very family friendly. Who says that shopping centers are a thing of the past? There are lots of family friendly shopping options and the food court is packed with offerings...and people. Then there are the full service restaurants and Dave & Busters on the western side of the mall. There is also a Regal Cinemas here.

The Macy's here has about as many options as the one in Westfield Mall in Potomac, MD. In fact, I was looking for Yes Saint Laurent's Libre parfum and this location was one of the few that had it. Kudos.

I actually really like this mall. I went many times during the holidays and although there were a ton of people, it never felt crowded. Also, there is a Target attached to the mall, so you can shop for groceries and mall stuff all in one trip. The Maggianos Little Italy was tasty too. This shopping area is small, but offers a diverse variety of stores. The Staples here is one of the best I have ever been to. Their photo copying department personnel are wonderful. I had to use their services to reproduce family photos to create a Memory Album after losing my Dad earlier this year. The lady who helped me was so compassionate and kind.
