10/14/19 Just came back from catchers Fish House inside commercial center here. My seventh time near the catfish is wonderful. Also Wednesday the 16th at the happy Earth Market there are showing the new vegan movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger called the game changer. The movies free but I suggest you give a free donation because they work very hard keeping happy Earth Market to serve the community and have many many different events even a jam session coming up on the same day earlier anybody can bring any instrument and just play all together. I will post a few more pictures there's a new Nigerian restaurant opened and Thai food is coming back again to its old Resting Home called Lotus of Siam opening in a few weeks after extensive roof and internal remodeling. The whole building on the Sahara side is under new ownership and the 90-degree L shape structure that turns into State Street has all been painted new security doors . The Leesing staff of Ron McMenamy is doing a fantastic job I'm getting new storefronts in this old historic Commercial Center. It was the crown jewel of Las Vegas and it's late 60s and 70s. Ron you need to build a high-rise with your name on it. Soon you deserve it. Jesus cares say your prayers. NM

It's now making a community come back room to grow still. They just painted murals on the Karen side opposite where Lotus of Siam was. The murals are nice and colorful and they have another large storefront opening soon that will be unique to Vegas all kinds of special items even of the weird and macabre.

As of 6 21 2019 I am really rating historic Commercial Center currently at a 4 for a lot of effort and new shops that have joined this older established and probably the first major Shopping Center in Las Vegas 40 + years ago.

Have added numerous art shops with interesting items to purchase. I knew Fish House and a upgraded 99 Cent Store handsome karaoke and Latino dance clubs. The word is that Lotus of Siam will be coming back soon as it was a very popular location until the roof gave way and the whole buildings roof has been redone.

Oh that have a really great little market called the happy Earth store that has Open Mic every Friday nights to say whatever I'm get it off your chest. You can rent space there as well to sell your wares or show your talents. Or like I did today just cut out pictures and paste them and then share with each other what it means. ;xxxxxxxxxxxxcxxxxxccccxxxc

2018..... Last weekend the north side inner parking lots had over 200 beer cans,bottles &trash all over. An overnight party bomb must have gone off. Business owners...

I like The Historic Commercial Center. I happen to work there. I eat and drink there. There are many great businesses here. It’s getting ready to undergo a restoration and ultimately a resurgence. I’ve never had any issues being here late at night. You may see “shady” people..as you can anywhere in Vegas…but they’re just there. They’re not there to bother you. There are many popular ethnic restaurants that are always packed. Also, the iconic Vickie’s Diner, The Spotlight Lounge, Badlands, Entourage, The Cue Club, The Green Door, XO Liquors ( the best selection anywhere) and coming soon…Arty’s Steakhouse. Seems as though this Historic Retail Outdoor Mall is getting some life breathed back into it! Filling up retail spots to almost capacity. Restaurants...entertainment...Adult Spas...retail stores and more. I have patronized several businesses in the eclectic mall and was happily surprised with the Customer Service and quality I found. Give it a look if you're a Local or Traveler. Lots of choices for many needs! The Colombian restaurant and Pannaderia ( Bakery ) is an excellent choice to start with.
