If you’re a gal in need of lamp rewiring magic, just holler for Vince in the electrical department! This guy not only saved my vintage lamp from a hammer-induced demise but also turned me into a DIY diva. Thanks to his patient guidance, my boyfriend will remain blissfully unaware of my newfound electrical prowess. Home Depot, you’ve got a gem in Vince! Forever grateful and slightly electric! 💡✨

Worst lighting department. Looks ok in the picture, but fan light kits were difficult to find. Asked for help, then had to ask again only to have the helper get scooped up by another customer. 90% of the light kit boxes were already opened and none seemed to be where the tag said they should be. Asked to speak to the manager and was told, "she's busy".

It's a good place to shop for your home improvement needs and repairs. I do wish they had more organic options in their garden area such as fertilizers, compost, mulch etc. They do need a few more people on the floor for questions etc. They also need for the people on the floor to be much more knowledgeable about the areas they work in.

I would like to tell you about a few issues i have had this week and i am still presently dealing with.

I have had issues with my last three orders. The first was order WN 16819583. This was a on line order and I was notified 3 times this order was ready for pick up. Each time it could not be found. This requires three visits with a trailer. As i am not a contractor i dont just drag one around all day. Eventually i just canceled the order. The second was a small one WN 16820256 . Again two notifications the order was ready first time it could not be found and i was pressed for time . I came back the second trip still could not be found. I took the pick ticket and pulled it my self. Sad i know but i cant keep comming back.

And now strike three...

Order WG 89067013 This is a $3300 mower. I was notified it would be delivered. Today i get a call from a delivery guy " not yours" he is about to deliver a " distressed" new mower. He wants someone on site to receive it so he may prove he did not do the damage. There is now in my driveway a very damaged new mower. Both side are scratched , dented , the steering wheel on the left has significant damage . The right rear is flat. The engine dip stick is broken off and hanging by a small piece of plastic. When I contacted your help desk I got very little help. I now have a very distressed $3300 dollar mower blocking my driveway on a pallet. A very un sympathetic store Mgr and I can't get a personal car out of my drive way until sometime tomorrow when your organization will come to collect it for a return. For my trouble I was offered a deal of $100 to keep this mangled piece of equipment. I was also told they would credit me for the shipping.. I did not pay shipping?

I was also asked by the help desk if I would like to buy another new unit. You know to replace this mangled new unit i just received. But, I can't because I would be out $6600 until someone will re credit my account...sometime next week. What's worse... not only did the staff know this was a damaged unit and they sent it out anyway but there are 97 of them at the warehouse. The delivery driver told me privately that he pointed out the damage there and the response from Home Depot staff was " if the guys calls i will give him a few bucks back." This compound by a ridiculously low $100 offer to keep this junk pile. I can tell you I have never been so insulted by a business I have ever worked with ...

I have no idea how you train your management staff but this must be a good example. As in you do not.

This is a pathetic example of an organization that I thought I could depend on. While I do not expect any action or even response I hope this will fall on someone's desk. You have a significant problem in this store.

I want to share my experience with Home Depot. I purchased a Whirlpool dishwasher in 2019 and also went ahead and bought the warranty that came with it. Before the winter storm here in February, I called to set up an appointment for a technician to come to repair my dishwasher. It was leaking water during Run cycles. A technician from ASI came one week after the winter storm here in Houston or two weeks from my initial call. She diagnosed the problem and ordered four parts for my machine and advise me that they will update me when the parts will arrive. A month later, I called them and inquired about my parts and repair but no one answered. So I went ahead and sent them an email. Same thing, no one responded. A couple weeks later I called again and inquired about the parts for my machine and the repair for my machine. They said they had all four parts at one time but lost two of the four parts to another job. To solve this problem they will have to reorder the parts missing again. I waited and waited and waited and then give them a call. They said they don't have my parts. To find a solution for my problem, I had been in touch with all kinds of people from all over the world because their customer service is not based here in the United States. I had been passed along the different people and different managers and supervisors to no avail. Eventually, in the month of July, I change from pursuing a repair to my dishwasher to having them just go ahead and reimburse me for my machine. This process was heartbreaking because I had been passed to different people over and over again in multiple days of calling and multiple times. Today, July 23 I eventually got my reimbursement for my machine. I would not wish this on anyone because I waited to have my machine repaired and then eventually got refunded from early February to July 23. That is too much time to get a dishwasher repaired. In the process, I had to wash my dishes by hand and also had a flood event from this broken dishwasher. In short, do not ever ever ever buy an appliance from Home Depot, especially if they are also selling you a warranty for that product. I had too much headaches because of this. The consolation is that after several months of headaches, I got a full refund. This has been my...

Went two days ago to buy wood and to have it cut, but the machine was broken. Okay, that's fine. I will come back next time. Right. So today, I called to see if it was fixed after I went to a different homedepot only for the machine to be out of service.... someone hung the phone when I said hello. Rude. But maybe it was an accident. I called again, and I was able to ask if the cutting machine was working. She transferred the call, and the other lady said yes, the machine was working. Awesome. I went in and grabbed my wood pieces and called over an associate, and he said that the machine had been broken for a week...... Needless to say, I was very annoyed. The guy was nice and asked who I spoke with. But unfortunately, I didn't ask for the lady name. I'm going to lowe's next to try my luck there. Three stars instead of 1 because the guy did seem to feel bad about the situation.

Edit: Okay, so I did go to lowe's to get the main wood I needed (they cut it for me), but they didn't have the other wooden piece I needed. So when I was heading back to this location ( I could just hand saw this one piece) when I looked all over my car I couldn't find my brother tape measure I realized I left it at the cart last night. I asked a few associates, but they didn't have it at customer service, nor have they seen it. I gave up and was ready to buy the same model when I asked an associate, and he said he didn't work last night, but he went to check at a spot area, and HE FOUND IT!!!! I wished I could have hug him. Sorry for the rant, but I learned that even though a bad experience had me quickly post about. I have to acknowledge the other days of the great customer service that I've received throughout the years I've shopped here. Overall, great customer service. But you guys really do need to fix...
