What I like most about PJ's is the quality ingredients. All patties are made fresh with housemade seasoning which give it that little something extra :) They offer variety in their menu. Such as low carb or keto friendly options. And it's nice to have more options in a limited area near 1960 and 290.
Here's what we've tried so far:
-Bacon cheeseburger is amazing! **Add crispy fried onions and "secret sauce".
-Chicken tender basket and fries. The chicken tenders are HUGE. They will even offer to toss your tenders in sauce, like wing style.
-My husbands favorite, the naked wings. But they have sauce flavors you can toss in.
-Awesome dessert! Each time we've visited PJ there is different desserts to try. From cookies, brownies to cupcakes. It's nice they rotate what is offered, until you find your favorite!
We will be back, next thing I want to try is the grilled chicken sandwich.
On their Instagram they mentioned a "not so secret menu" and candied bacon!
Can't wait for what else they release. If you haven't tried them yet, go visit soon!
Updated review 4/5/23. Pj's also offers catering. Ordered catering for my office of 30 employees. We ordered two chicken tender platters, the salad platter with grilled chicken, two dozen of the famous strawberry cookies, and a few of the pj's favorite items such as the house burger, the bacon bbq, and the smash burger, and a few of their hot dogs as well to sample.
Everything was hot and freshly made. Delivery was prompt and portions were very very generous. They even included gravy as a dipping side with the chicken tenders which was a nice.
Highly recommend to stop by if you live in the area and will definitely be ordering catering again for...
Read moreIf you’re in Cypress, TX, you HAVE to check out PJ’s Eatery! I had the Jax Smashed Burger, and let me tell you—it was perfect. The seasoning was on point, the burger was fresh, and it came out in under 15 minutes, which is just the right amount of time. I didn’t waste a second—it was gone in under two minutes. The fries? Also amazing. They tasted homemade, not that store-bought stuff. Perfectly seasoned and crispy.
I only got pictures of the wings, cookies, and pumpkin cheesecake, but let me talk about these wings real quick. They hooked me up with a hot honey and lemon pepper combo that was absolutely next level. Sweet, spicy, and just… perfect. Easy 10/10. The burger? A solid 9.8/10, and that’s only because I ordered the smaller size (totally my fault—next time I’m going bigger).
Haven’t tried the pumpkin cheesecake yet, but it smells amazing, and I’ve never even heard of that flavor before, so I’m excited.
And the customer service? Juan was awesome from start to finish. Super friendly and made me feel right at home. If you don’t stop by for the food, at least go see Juan—he’s that great.
PJ’s Eatery is a gem, y’all. Don’t...
Read moreOrdered the cheeseburger combo and burger patty was dry not fresh and the fries where refried more than once that they looked dark brown. The fries had such a strong fyer oil taste to them. For $15 I was truly disappointed
I'm a chef and don't mind supporting small business and I could tell that those fries were left over from a previous batch because they were not even hot. They were warm and flimsy. Basically just dipped in the fryer to make em warm somewhat. The fact that I wasn't even given an option on how I wanted my burger cooked to begin with makes me also believe that the patty was also left over and warmed up on the flattop because it was so dry inside like cardboard paper. Your cooking staff needs better training. I was the only one at the time ordering and it wasn't busy when I went so there's no excuse on the lack of effort. The cook was...
