tea noobie here! this was the first time ever going into a professional tea establishment and i gotta say they had quite the selection. I am shy most times so when Jocelyn greeted me i just smiled at her and looked through the selection. but, when i needed help she walked over to me and looked through her wall to make sure she could recommend some good ones to me. She even told me how to cook them. (turns out..instructions on the back...haha sorry jocelyn!)
I was looking for a raspberry + strawberry mix preferably a black tea (i had this mix at a cafe months back and was desperate to find something close to it) but, unfortunately for me...all i did was ask her for raspberry...OR strawberry and never said anything about the black tea part...ahha whoops! so she showed me all her fruity flavors and even showed me their DELICIOUS!!! strawberry sugar. (i ended up getting the strawberry white tea still great just wish i had gotten the mix i was originally looking for as i like it strongggg)
I then had to call later that night...literally 5 minutes before close (DAMN YOU BEE!) and guess what?! they answered! i was shocked and so thankful. i raced to ask her how many times i could re-steep the tea and had some few other questions and she was so kind and told me and even tried to explain to me a few other tips and tricks for future teas that i try.
My only complaint...is that i didnt get more teas! i wish tea was an inexspensive as soda because..its just amazing.
Anyway, if you ever get a tea that is raspberry+strawberry black tea mix hit me up on here! ill rush down to buy...

I have had only the most positive and engaging experiences at this store with its employees and customers alike. In response to the review below from Monique B, it’s unfortunate that a person entering an establishment one time can make such a sweeping, uninformed, and impactful statement. There seems to me that there are better ways to address an issue with one individual. I have had interactions with that same employee (thanks for the overly detailed description) and learned through talks of tea and life that she is a college student with autism spectrum disorder and can be incredibly shy and “socially awkward”; because of her love of teas, this owner gave her an opportunity for meaningful employment. I would hope that any truly discerning tea and spice aficionado and humanitarian could embrace a small business who goes the extra mile for a person with a disability and continue to support this incredible...
Read moreLove this place and how much of a tea selection they have going on. I'm always looking for quality loose leaf teas in the greater Houston area and they definitely provide that and more. The darjeeling & earl grey are my absolute favorites.
Also, with regards to certain unfair "customers" of this store who stopped by and got their feelings hurt because of a mask request, and then had the gall to leave a 1 star review because of it ----- it is absolutely not a HIPAA violation to ask if someone is vaccinated, nor is it illegal to request that customers wear masks in a place of...
