I expected the staff to be as sweet as the decor, sadly that was not the case.
This is my experience and i intend for this criticism to be taken into consideration not to be taken as an insult or hate.
There were two women working when i went, one an older lady who did nothing wrong she was nice but the cashier, maybe in her mid-late 20s or perhaps early 30s was incredibly rude and inconsiderate.
My boyfriend got a 100 bill for his birthday and i asked if they accept 100 bills. They checked for change and the older lady helped check with the younger one for authenticity by holding it to the light. They took our order, i asked for her opinion in what she recommends to drink. We chose to get hot and spicy chicken with a ruby black milk tea.
I am a shy person who has struggled with being social all my life and i have only felt comfortable the past year when im with my boyfriend. My confidence has been getting better with ordering recently so now we both order or we take turns!
After we sat down a few minutes passed by and i heard the cashier call out “Ruby black milk tea” I looked back and only saw the tea and didn't see the chicken. I wasn't sure if someone had ordered the same tea so i was freaking out telling my boyfriend if it was ours or not but i didn't see our complete order and he told me everything was going to be okay and took picture with me, i looked back again and saw the tea still on the counter and was thinking of asking if it was ours but customers started pilling in and was having second thoughts, soon after the cashier comes and places the drink in front of me and said “heres your drink” with a change of tone. I said “Oh! Thank you!” in the kindest way possible hoping that she understood it was a misunderstanding and didn’t misjudge ny character. right after she comes to our table and says “so um, were having complications with the authenticity of the 100$ bill …” she has a marker with her and showed us that a part of the bill was supposed to change colour and it was not, she asked if we had ANOTHER 100$ bill!? we are not rich the flip. my boyfriend said he got it from his grandma because though he’s more extroverted, he is ALSO shy 🙈
NOT TO MENTION WE ARE TEENAGERS
This woman then proceeds to ask if his grandma got the bill from the bank, he said yes!? because what the heck? she then shows us the problem and says the bill was supposed to turn gold when drawn with a marker and then as soon as she says that it starts turning colour-(and ngl i didnt even know that was a thing but yeah) and i noticed how part of the bill already had the golden colour checked before she showed us, so then she then says “oh its doing it now” and didnt even apoligize :(
I felt so embarrassed, so unwelcomed and disrespected, i just wanted to leave so we tried eating the food and left minutes after.
The prices and aesthetics seemed just perfect, i just wish the customer service and experience was better.
I do hope it improves so please take this review as a chance...
Read moreI recently visited Tsacocaa after reading some rave reviews, and I decided to try the Chunky Classic Hot Dog. It turned out to be a corn dog, but a pretty chunky one, drizzled with sauce. The outer crust was delicious, crispy, and perfectly golden, and the hot dog itself was fantastic. As a fan of corn dogs, I was easily impressed by this one, and honestly, I could eat it every day!
For my drink, I opted for the Mango Pamelo. While it was refreshing, it wasn’t anything special—just okay in my book.
I also tried the boneless wings, which turned out to be fried chicken thighs. These were incredibly juicy, but the seasoning was very simple. I went for the garlic pepper sauce, but unfortunately, it lacked the flavor I was hoping for. Having tried some amazing honey garlic pepper sauces from various Korean chicken spots, I was a bit disappointed by this one.
On my second visit, I had that delicious corn dog again (still amazing), but the boneless wings were again juicy and crispy, though they still lacked flavor. The sauces, unfortunately, didn’t pack much punch. I also tried the Muscat Grape Slushie, which was just okay. It tasted like watered-down grape juice at first, but the flavor came through a little more towards the end.
Overall, I highly recommend the corn dogs—they were definitely the highlight of my visit! The drinks I tried were fine, but not extraordinary. Tsacocaa offers a huge variety of drinks, and they’re all pretty visually appealing, so I may stop by again to try more options. Customer service was decent, but nothing to...
Read moreI'm so happy this place opened in Winter Springs! Love that it offers a lot of food, in addition to the bubble teas. Their drink menu is huge, with more than just the usual tea stuff. They even have Mango Pomelo Sago, which is a delicious but rare find. The drink is not too sweet, has lots of fresh mango, and deliciously refreshing. Bonus, it's dairy free!
Even better is their huge food menu. They have Hong Kong style egg waffles!! Made fresh when ordered and so yummy. Their Korean hot dogs and fried chicken are huge & very filling. Ramen is savory, with huge char siu & broth tasting like it's been cooking for hours, but not too salty. Also have snack foods like takoyaki, fried mini sesame balls, dumplings, etc. Everything I've had so far has been really tasty.
The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is really clean, modern, spacious, & getting cuter each time I go. They now have cute "toast" cushions XD So thankful that this place exists :) so nice to be able to get Asian snack foods close to home & work, without going all the way to Colonial. I actually like Tsaocaa better than the Mills places. Hope this place gets great business here. I know I'm frequenting it way...
