Extremely disappointed- Front Desk staff are unprofessional and not attentive. I walked in today to bring my friends dog to see the doctor because she was having diarrhea with blood and mucus in it. As soon as I walked up to the front desk I stood in front of a lady who was on the computer and didn't even acknowledge me. I finally said excuse me Ma'am... and she looked up at me as if I was disturbing her... as I started to talk to her to explain what was going on she never made eye contact with me she just kept typing and doing whatever she was doing on the computer and I felt really disrespected. I explained to her what was going on and she said the earliest I can get you in is at 10 and I told her this is an emergency not a routine visit...she said " diarrhea is not an emergency"! HOW RUDE! Extremely unprofessional mannerism.. it was very dismissive and not compassionate at all... then I said well I don't think you heard me correctly when I said there is blood and mucus in her diarrhea..she said.. the best I can do is.. you can leave her here with us in the doctor will see her when they can.. she said but I will tell you that it's probably stress colitis and if you leave her here it's only going to make it worse because she'll be stressed.. that statement alone did not make me feel comfortable or confident in this Clinic.. your job is to keep her out of stress so what you're telling me is that your facility is a stressful facility and it's going to make her worse if I leave her in your care when you are supposed to be the professionals? Not impressed at all... so I told her, what you're pretty much saying to me is take her and come back later because you just told me that if I leave her here it's going to get worse so you put me in a position to decide whether to allow her to get worse or to take her home with me so it doesn't get worse and she said "that's not what I said".....um...ok lady! You need a new job because you are clearly NOT PEOPLE FRIENDLY OR DOG FRIENDLY.. needless to say I will never be back here again and I will warn every person I know to stay away...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently transitioned care of my furbabies to this vet as it is close to home, and though I liked my previous vet, my pets are on the older side and one has a heart condition so I wanted some more thorough care to keep them happy and healthy.
My experience has been awesome. Dr. Lee and Dr. O'Sullivan are both kind and great at explaining issues, having an open dialogue about care, confirming which steps to proceed with, answering my often many questions, and following up on lab results or medication changes. The techs and front office team members have also all been great; they are friendly, caring, and great about answering questions as well. One of my dogs is very challenging to deal with and they have handled her professionally and kindly in making sure she safely gets necessary care with as little anxiety as possible. They also offer boarding (for the day or overnight) which I was able to take advantage of while my apartment was undergoing renovations and they were wonderful in working with what was a fairly short notice schedule change on my end.
Overall, I am pleased to have established care for my pets here and will continue to trust in them to make sure they remain in good health. Each person working here seems to have the same love and compassion for animals that I have (and that of course all those that provide care to animals should have!) so I feel at ease that they will always guide me in making the best health decisions...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI rarely write reviews, but I feel itās important to share my experience. I brought my dog here for the first time to have x-rays taken of his leg. The doctor was very kind and well spoken, but unfortunately, the visit did not give us the answers we needed. After the exam and x-rays, my dog was diagnosed with only a sprained foot. Later, at another veterinary clinic, he was correctly diagnosed with a torn ACL that requires surgery.
I paid $350 at this clinic, but they missed something that serious. On top of that, I asked the front desk for a copy of my dogās x-rays before I left and never received them. When I followed up on call, one of the employees was rude and unhelpful. She insisted I needed to book another appointment with the doctor just to access the x-rays, which turned out not to be true. Another staff member later apologized and said the x-rays would be emailed to me, but I still didnāt receive them until I called again. The same rude employee answered, and the email address she used was not even the one I had on file. Even after I carefully spelled it out and corrected her mistakes, she acted like it was an inconvenience to resend the files. Between the misdiagnosis, the cost, and the unprofessional behavior at the front desk, this was an incredibly frustrating experience. I ended up having to go to a different vet to get the correct diagnosis and proper treatment...
